Only one song!?

I worked in a warehouse for a few months where everybody argued about the choice of radio station so eventually I just had a playlist arranged and playing over the speakers all day. Everybody got to initially choose 20 songs (between us that pretty much covered three work days) and I had them playing at random.

Every weekend everybody could email me a choice of another 10 songs and I would add them to that initial playlist by Monday morning. Every week the number of songs quickly grew.

Some complained about the song choices and eventually I gave everybody the option of also being able to remove a song (regardless of who had chosen it) but it came at the cost of adding one of their own songs (ie they could delete one song from the playlist if it really annoyed them but that meant they could only add 9 not 10 tracks that week).

Actually I came up with the "remove a track" option myself because if I ever had to listen that awful Enemy song by Imagine Dragons again I was going to smash that work ipad playing the songs to pieces.

I had to put a limit on song lengths (some were choosing 30 minute remixes which really went against the spirit of the whole thing) and being a workplace I had to warn them about songs that might be considered offensive to co-workers.

It was good fun and led to lots of good hearted banter - "Who chose this great song!? I'd forgotten this one!" or "I bet you chose this crap you idiot!".

I had lots of Oasis and Britpop and Beatles and Stones and Kinks in there. I left after 3 or 4 months so I don't know if anybody kept the thing going. Maybe they remember me whenever an Oasis track starts playing! Maybe they've all slowly elected to remove my choices? Who knows?

I'll go with Acquiesce. Has the kinda poppy chorus and it features both brothers. Also i think it will appeal to the masses, but it's kinda of a deep cut and not well known song.

I got hooked at Morning Glory. OK, and first at Fucking in the bushes ("Snatch"), but that's not a very typical Oasis song.

I'd go for Some Might Say cause it's just the perfect uplifting, upbeat pop song
