I think I’d like the heavy guitar album next even though 20 years ago I’d have killed for a solo Noel acoustic album. It just feels too safe and predictable at this point. We also got a long wait. Acoustic album in 2-3 years, Noel will be 59-60. Stadium rock album 2-3 years later and Noel is 63-64. I worry for the Stadium Rawk album when he says Easy Now is like Oasis and compares it to The Masterplan and Little By Little. 😬 |

Like Think of a Number or other one who needed a solo, dont go the easy Pink Floyd option, ask for the solo but not on the one where everyone will go yeah, that's like pink floyd.  |

He's talking about the artist showing up and having the songs already there on the table and they just record it as is versus actually sitting down with someone and writing a song together where you might bring a half written song already that just needs a bridge to be finished off or something and you trade ideas back and forth and something completely new comes out of it. THis was a good interview, I enjoyed listening to it. Noel seems much more forthright about his life than normal. Any interview with more of that and less celebrity mentions is always good, as hilarious as those stories can be. Nice to have a balance. |

Or that at least the artist be in the room when the writing occurs. Not just being sent the MP4 by email. |

Interesting to hear Noel finally talk about the "DLBIA Chord". The interviewer was actually asking about the Fmaj to F minor, but Noel thinks he means the famous chord lol. Interesting nonetheless

Best Noel interview in a while. No 'old man shouting at the clouds' rubbish. Interesting about Think of a Number - I suppose it's obvious when you look at the lyrics but interesting to hear him acknowledge the divorce
