That was a great interview. Thanks for posting. Clearly the interviewer did his research. And I think this is the first time Noel has said that DTTW and TOAN are “directly” about his marriage falling apart.

Minute 10 starts the black keys talk mossyHe's never felt more embarrassed than doing that George Martin thing where he explains how he wrote wonderwall He wanted to do first the stadium rock album, but didn't pursue because of the uncertainty of the times, he most likely will go to the acoustic stuff next, but that doesn't means it would be all be acoustic, because that would be boring by the 4th song. He wants to enjoy life as a 56 year old, he can't write DM anymore, it's just not him, that time has passed and Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys feels the same way. |

I think I’d like the heavy guitar album next even though 20 years ago I’d have killed for a solo Noel acoustic album. It just feels too safe and predictable at this point. We also got a long wait. Acoustic album in 2-3 years, Noel will be 59-60. Stadium rock album 2-3 years later and Noel is 63-64.

Good interview I enjoyed that.
Been a rough couple of years apparently with the problems in his marriage.
-living in hotels in London
-a lot of acoustic songs about the breakup
-looking forward to a new life & new house after the tour
- doesn't feel like dating because the women he meets are "insane".

That was when we first heard he was working on a “somber” acoustic album and got the first working title for a track - In A Little While - which he described as “heartbreaking”. 💔 |

-living in hotels in London Havent listened to the interview but I did mention a couple of years back, when he was "building" his studio that it was near impossible to have him commute from the country to London every day. Looks like i was right ! Anyway, looking forward to listening to this one. |

Like him having to stay at a hotel because the boiler at the house in London was broken... having to urgently end a call to spend 'quality time' with his son who seemingly just came back from London to Hampshire late at night... Some things just didn't really add up and well, we now know why... |

From this interview, now being the third or fourth time saying it, it sounds like Noel is actually be a bit genuinely open to cashing in on something with Oasis. But he doesn't want to be the one asking for it, by all of his "But I have no real interest in it, I'm happy with what I'm doing".
