I’ve recently come across these photos from a gig that’s apparently from around November 1995

This is without a doubt an acoustic set, I would say it’s not playback since they’re actually using acoustic guitars (other playback performances always had Noel with an electric guitar to take the piss), Liam’s sitting down and Alan’s playing the drums, Noel is using the same guitar he would use around that time (for example at Jools Holland)

Considering this is suspected to be around the WTSMG release, they probably played at least one of the acoustic songs off that album, so maybe Wonderwall, Cast No Shadow or Rockin Chair.

On the second picture (most likely from the same night) we see Liam and Guigsy signing autographs, and there’s a sign on the top left that says Virgin, so it’s probably a different Virgin Megastore performance, I’ve read it might’ve been in Paris.

Is anything else known about this gig? It might actually be Liam’s first wonderwall performance, but that’s speculation
