The sound last night was excellent. We were sat in block H so we fairly close to the stage on the same side as the guitarist and bassist (who was dressed like he was signing on at 9am before heading out to the methadone clinic- suit jacket, shirt, green joggers and smart shoes) It was like a mass karaoke session. In a good way.
Highlights for me- "Digsy's Dinner" and "Fade Away"
We left after "Live Forever" as a) the one tube out of that place is a nightmare to get out of and b) I've seen what they do to "I Am The Walrus" and it'd make John Lennon turn in his fur-lined urn.
Was it anyone from here who got Liam's tambourine?

The show itself was amazing! Liam sang perfect! The crowd, though, should be embarrassed about themselves. Totally dead for almost every B-side. Liam himself said it: "Be careful what you wish for." And some of the crowd left after Live Forever. Come on! To be fair, I did that as well, a few years ago, when I had tickets for 2 nights, the second night as the way to the tube is no fun from O2, especially if, like me, you are a not very large person. Scary, actually! I dreaded it this time, but Liam is worth it. Still, I do understand if someone - maybe with kids? - wanted to evade that.
BTW, totally forgot on monday, Cast were great as well! I am very thankful that I got to know them now since the anouncement of them as support. It would have been fun to see Villanelle as well, but, as above, London tube, better travelling later!

Now that was the bollocks. Holy shit what a night. Sound much better tonight and had an excellent view even from further back. Shakermaker and Slide Away hit different tonight. More digs from Liam about crowd response to b-sides but I loved it. Haha, that was a great dig, think he cottoned on that the B-sides didn't kick off in certain places, but sod it, there's enough of us that loved them and they were done to a brilliant quality with the tone and heavy sound, and Liam's voice throughout held up superbly through the 4 nights; not to mention the fact that we're unlikely to hear these B-sides again once the tour is over. Those of you who are going to a show/s on this tour are in for a real treat - enjoy! One small footnote - wouldn't it have been cool if Noel had come up in the montage in Live Forever? Just a small nod to the guy who wrote the album..no chance of that happening of course, but one can imagine.. B-Sides are too deep for most people, Lock All The Doors is top tier obscure. His voice has held up really well and he's singing so well compared to the mid - late 2000's. Whatever he's doing, its working. Credit to Liam and his team for bringing out his best. All the people during the Live Forever solo are dead definitely not the place for Noel to be shown, you'd likely give the crowd panic attacks. Perhaps there could have been another way to honour Noel but at least his image was on the screen during maybe Digsy's Dinner? I think George Harrison should have been next to Lennon. I did ask about it on here but comment wasn't picked up. I don't think Harrison had much if anything nice to say about Oasis and Liam whilst he was alive. There was a guitarist shown on the right hand screen with Sid Vicious on the left, anyone know that is? Don't recognise him.

Haha fair enough about the artists not with us anymore, but would have just been nice to seen him acknowledged somewhere along the line, apart from just being on Digsy's Dinner holding the globe.. And regarding George Harrison, yeah he seemed indifferent at best with Oasis like this clip - https://www.reddit.com/r/oasis/comments/r88oec/george_harrison_on_oasis/ I'd like to know who that guitarist next to Sid Vicious is too, and the two guys that followed on the screen after..

I also had a spiritual experience like others in this thread, I can't believe how amazing he was and how amazing the CROWD was -- singing Live Forever is a new highlight of my life.

The Live Forever photos is the same group of people displayed when Oasis played it at Maine Road I think, so it's Steve Marriott alongside Sid Vicious, followed by Brian Jones and Marvin Gaye.
There's no Harrison because he was alive when that list of people was put together in the mid 90s.

So, a few thoughts on Mondays gig at the O2. My seats were definitely better, in the 112 seated section, and, though the thrill of the surprise of it wasnβt a factor this time, I still found it a really great night. Almost took seeing it twice to believe it!
Set was the same of course but this time it was evident what a highlight Digsyβs Dinner was. The visuals (the DM cover animated to life) was brilliant, with the marching flamingoes and Noel, Tony and even Guigsy making appearances. The song was an absolute singalong. The line about the best days of our lives seemed to hit a particularly relevant note.
Hearing HTWA again was a treat and seeing how well it went down was pretty inspiring. Shows how amazing Liam is doing nowadays. Same limp reaction to the run of b-sides (I was loving it, especially Spaceman). Liam did mess up and leave out lyrics in Fade Away, MWC and a few others and he seemed pretty annoyed about it. Sound felt good from where I was though.
C&A was again, by far, the biggest crowd reaction of the night. I even experienced the infamous pint being tossed and landing on me (I can only hope itβs lager). I donβt understand how someone can pay Β£9.50 for a drink only to throw it.
Iβm going to the Oasis exhibition in Manchester next weekend, the one Kyle from a bittersweet home is setting up. Very excited about that and will surely report back. Times are good.

These concerts look great. I think the 2024 live version of I'ts good to be free has the best arrangement ever. I'm not a fan of the Oasis reunion but it would be nice if Noel and Tony joined Liam for even just one date of the concerts planned in Manchester.

I remember another drummer stood in for Dan on a short tour which Liam did last year as Dan couldn't drum. So I guess that there was a problem, I don't follow him on social media so I didn't know about the surgery.
