Hey, I'm new to the site.

It's always been an ambition of mine to do the Oasis tour. I'm visiting Manchester in July and plan to visit the Boardwalk, Bonehead's old house and the childhood home of the Gallaghers, where I believe Peggy still lives.

I will be tempted to knock on the door but do you think it would be intrusive and disrespectful of me to do this?

I don't know whether it's something fans have done in the past.

That must be the one I took years ago, that canary yellow van! I enjoyed it very much, especially as I was the only one who turned up and had the privilege of getting a private tour from Craig Gill, the drummer of the Inspiral Carpets who tragically died a few years ago. The memories of getting carted around by him, very much Manchester Music nobility himself, is a bit bittersweet now, because he was a lovely guy, but one I treasure!

And if you want to make your own tour, there is a very helpful book, called Manchester Musical History tour, by Gill and Phill Gatenby.
