Hi guys, sorry to be that guy, I know this song has become somewhat infamous on this forum but could anybody please provide all information we have about Slow? Apparently it was first mentioned in a Q magazine in 97? I also remember reading somewhere Owen Morris mentioned it, saying something like its "the most beautiful song Noel has ever written" don't quote me on that. Also wasnt there something about Noel saying it was too "ballad-y" ?

I know Nick Brine(?) was asked about whether it existed during the BHN recording sessions, and said he doesn't remember it. So i'm skeptical whether there even exists a recording of this song. Could somebody provide all times this song has been mentioned in the Oasis world?

My un-educated opinion is that it could possibly be marginally related to Stop Cryin Your Heart Out, but i have no basis for that at all. I guess its possible Noel doesnt even remember the chord progression/lyrics anymore, especially if no audio ever existed.

For a long time, it seemed to be a song lost in the ether. Suspicion amongst the fanbase here is that it developed into something else like Stop Crying, was just a sketch, forgotten completely or didn't even exist.

But for those who know better, and correct me if I'm wrong, did Noel not mention recently that it is a thing and that he uncovered it fairly recently?
