Struggle to give it anything but a five. It exists. It's competent. It's a song. It has a chorus, and stuff. Nothing about it that I'd have any interest in if it wasn't from the guy who wrote Champagne Supernova. Kind of my feelings now too, though I may say a 6. I actually liked Pretty Boy more, not because it’s a great song or anything but because this one feels like it’s too Sardy-like, in terms of it as a song not just production. Also, something about that solo. It may be my least favourite “Oasis” guitar solo. Just feels so generic. I love Were Gonna Get There in the End, and Trying to Find a World is a great one to me. Pretty Boy is okay. But this one feels lacking. It’s like Dying of the Light done for HC, produced by Sardy. I don’t dislike it but I don’t feel excited by it either.

I could easily give a 7 or 8 if it was only for the first 30 seconds of the song. Unfortunately, from the guitar solo til the end it becomes very boring and reminds me of everything I don't like in Noel recent stuff, so I'm glad to stay with 6.

9 people rating it 10/10 😂 Got to love a poll on the L4E forum. I just made it 10 people who have given this a 10. I absolutely love it it’s definitely on the same level as Flying on the Ground . Can’t believe the same person who wrote those 2 tunes can also write utter garbage such as Pretty Boy . Truly Baffling .

Well, I don't have a single negative thing to say about Live Forever. The lyrics are great, the guitar solo is great, Liam's voice is great... However, I'm one of the people who gave Easy Now a 10/10 not because the song is better but because for personal reasons it touches me much more than Live Forever which I've never listened to much. It's all very subjective.

I understand where Noel got the LBl and Masterplan comparison because like those tunes I feel it really builds up towards the chorus. The verses are great, very beatle-esque imo, the bridge is classic NG but the chorus... Meh.
I like the lyrics, love the "what if you trade..." lines but the melody during the chorus feels a bit of a let down.
6/10 for me.

Yes, now it's up to 8 thanks to DTTW. Easy Now became really emotional to me in the last days.

Its grown on me a lot, but still no more than a 6. Its just incredibly dull and dreary.
