The arbitrary decisions made by certain mods to move or delete posts should be discussed. I posted the following in response to someone telling me that discussing Noel’s divorce shouldn’t happen because it’s a music forum and it was immediately moved to a locked section of the forum:
“Oh, shut the fuck up, you hypocrite. You and everyone else are commenting on a post in a section called Facts and Fiction that’s described as “Rumors, Fan News, Opinions and Questions.”
You might not like the topic being discussed, but it’s disingenuous of you to act as if you haven’t contributed to speculation outside of the music made by Oasis and its past members.”
I have a hard time believing this post is any worse than Mimmihops making disparaging comments and denigrating a specific member of this forum on multiple occasions. I’m directly responding to someone, not bullying someone in a passive-aggressive nature like I’ve witnessed many times.

I’m willing to bet that I could search through your posts and find comments that are disrespectful. I said the guy was a hypocrite and disingenuous in his specific response to my post. It was the truth. I’ll reiterate for you — this section is labeled as Fact and Fiction for Rumors, Fan News, Opinions and Questions — therefore, this is the appropriate place to discuss Noel’s divorce and who he may or may not have fucked. Edit: are you and other mods aware of the bullying that’s been permitted to occur by Mimmihops and left in accessible sections of this forum for all to see? |

A divorce is devastating for all involved. I can only imagine how much worse it is made by being in the public eye and on the front page of newspapers.
All I can say is that I hope Noel and Sara have good people around them and they can get through the divorce amicably - and importantly, that their kids are ok.

Why bother expressing an opinion on the topic in the first place if you weren't looking for an honest discussion?
Because I wasn't looking for discussion. When I asked, why the fuck are people liking the post where member said that he hate kids, I wasn't really asking. I was like, fuck opinions like that and everyone who supports that. I can agree or disagree with what you said but that doesn't have anything to do with someone hating kids. Not thinking about kids and that they will not have great future, not saying that he is not kind of guy to have kids or anything like that. No, he said he hate kids. So, I am not into discussion about climate change, I just wrote what I think and that is that if you can hate kids, you can fuck off if you ask me. And if you don't mean it like that, then write the way you mean it. So, that's all I have to say. You say you hate kids, I say - fuck you. You’ll be able to find this post in the play pen soon. Nothing wrong with that. I don't spend much time on internet and I only read two other forums and believe me, playpen is great. Mods here are doing great job, sometimes we go out of line, they put your post in playpen and that is it. Better than banning and other shit going on other places. It is not like I go back and read my posts 🤣 I know I had few beers and it is pointless discussion so nothing wrong with post being removed. The main question being, "Do they actually hate kids or are they being more figurative?".
I mean, surely you can conceive of reasons why somebody might dislike children? I don't think those reasons are too difficult to imagine, parents tend to know firsthand those reasons. It's just that they are willing and able to put up with that for 18 years. They can often empathize with why somebody would feel differently. What is it that offends you about people who feel that way?
When he says he hates kids, what are you imagining? Like what does that mean to you to the point that you're willing to ostracize a group of people based off of that single opinion?

All this reunion talk on social media is doing my head in, as if Sara was the only obstacle. Some idiot on GB news doing a report on how a reunion is now likely. What about Noel himself? Said he can't play lead guitar anymore, talent gone, left it back in Paris in 2009 were this words. And Liam has said too many times to count that Noel doesn't have the desire to rock out anymore like he'd have to for Oasis. Might not have the right mentality for it. Plus his confidence might be shot right about now. It's not a done deal this 'reunion'.
