I haven't watched any of the new series of Planet Earth yet as I'll watch it on IPlayer when it's finished. But I've just read that last night's episode featured a wolf family with a tragic story. A family of fruit eating maned wolves in Brazil's Cerrado grassland were sadly found dead on grassland. The poor cubs life was cut very short. This is truly heartbreaking. I know it's nature and stuff but it's still upsetting.

It's been reported that the hazel door mouse is facing extinction in the UK. However this has been known for a while now so I guess it must be a new report as why is it in the news now.

Why do people think that it's ok to dump an animal and leave it? Why don't they do the decent thing and take it to a rescue centre. It makes me angry it really does. How would these people who do it like to be dumped.

Pheasants are one of the most beautiful birds in the world especially all the different species found in places like china including the golden pheasant, silver pheasant, lady pheasant, blue pheasant. There's a few more different species too which are so beautiful too. Sadly here in the UK we'd never see any of those but the common pheasant is absolutely lovely.
