Well Liam has abandoned Gem and Andy, it was a pretty shitty move really. Andy had Ride to fall back on but Gem had nothing.

Overall Liam has always thought about himself and only himself, that’s probably why Gem doesn’t talk to him anymore. Plus Gem has the right to be bitter since he helped Liam witting tunes, recording demos, choosing Beady eye instead on joining nghfb in 2011, etc… that’s a lot if you ask me !

There was no reaching out to Gem or Andy about being in the High Flying Birds. Gem and Andy agreed to carry on with Liam because quite frankly they had no better viable option if they said no.

I agree the way he pulled the plug on Beady Eye should have been handled way better, but there's nothing to say he wouldn't have offered Gem a place in his band if he hadn't jumped straight into bed with Noel. In fact i'm pretty sure Gem and Chris would have got an offer.

And Andy had already told the rest of the band he was going to tour with Ride before Liam even made the decision to split up Beady Eye.

People leave bands all the time. Liam doesn’t owe Gem a living forever and i’m sure Gem knows that too.
