I'd love to see a collaboration with FF or at least Dave in the future. Not talking about sending in some tune like EE but really working and recording together.
And as already mentioned this looked pretty cool with them as backing band for Liam yesterday. Different vibe and quality.

Yeah, I agree with you, it would be great for Liam and Dave to work together at some point in the future. Liam was great yesterday with the Foo Fighters and it's a shame that they couldn't do more songs together. But I'm glad Liam decided on those two. Ps, I'm glad that Liam has ditched that silly hat. |

Can't be that they are on stage and just are able to play as the average joe guitarist. |

If there’s any real evidence showing he blocked Oasis songs from being available in video format (like he’s done with Liam vids/docs) for a tribute concert, I think it impacts his status as a legend. Fingers crossed the childish/grandiose ego card he possesses wasn’t played in this case. |

I highly doubt he'd have anything to do with this, don't forget Liam isn't huge over there so they probably cut that part out for this reason (that said, if he does have something to do with it then jesus christ) |

I'm not sure that's the case.
Refusing sync license for a film, dvd or whatever is of course a choice, but really not sure on the 'live cover performance' side of things?

Is video not different? yes that's the thing about the 'sync' license, but the MTV hull gig is featured on MTVs official youtube channel with Noel songs so I'm not sure how it relates to a 'live gig' broadcast that is then re-shown. |
