I would love for LG to open this gig with MORE POWER It's a touching song and an amazing opener.
C'mon Liam!

On Twitter, Liam said he would play two songs. Given the context, he's definitely going to play Live Forever. For the second song, I don't know... But I would love it if he played Come Together

Never thought I'd see the day where Liam Gallagher is followed by Dave Chappele.
Decent short set from Liam.

Wouldn't say its advertising new music personally - the song's 6 months old. More of a thing for Taylor to see his band mate and somebody who he clearly likes collaborating on a song together.

Grohl said they picked Hawkins' own songs as well as his favorite songs from various artists.

Rock N Roll Star and Live Forever are the perfect fitting tribute for this concert.

Liam sounded good. Nice to have a decent vocal mix for a change. Dave sounded great drumming on RnRs. Man, Paul sounded rough.

you could tell the foo fighters practiced to the album version of rock n roll star, it was a tad slower than how liam plays it now but it let him really snarl in a way he hasn't since maybe DBTT era? it was cool.

Wow, that was something special, what a line-up! And so emotional. That hit home especially when Brian May said that he had been there 30 years ago for the Freddie Mercury Tribute. I watched that, too, then. Time flies, really!

never been a fan of Foo Fighters and often wonder why Dave Grohl was held in such high esteem, but with the worst toothache I've had for 20 years I sat and wathced (and drank through) the whole thing. I thought the Liam bit was tremendous, such a re-affirmation of his talent being a rock'n'roll star basically. I thought the Foo's backing of him was a revelation. I'm a big fan of Liam's current band but that did make me question a few things. I reckon it will have an effect on Liam too - hopefully not to change personnel, but to finally make that long awaited straight ahead rock'n'roll/rock album he's been threatening for some time. He obviously isn't fully behind all the songs on the latest album. If he did a real, proper rock record it could be the thing to kick him up several levels in the States. The rest of the gig was really surprisingly enjoyable for me. Grohl playing bass with The Pretenders, and with the Van Halen fella, and the band AC/DC section - all great stuff. If the Foo fighters could write a decent song I'd probably be well into them
