Too Good for Giving Up is about Liam - the term 'mental breakdown' is thrown around too easily, but Liam clinically had a mental break down in 2013 (which was building even before Oasis split).

And it was a bad mental breakdown - lasting several years. I know how hard that is to overcome - this song is about Liam, and his detailing his emotional recovery. I couldn't be more proud of, and pleased for, the man.

I can relate entirely to this song, the sadness but also a real sense of hopefulness - a melancholic dichotomy that Noel would be proud of. And a song I will return to over and over again. That chorus is beautiful.

Best on the album by far.

How much was Liam involved in writing this autobiographical masterpiece?

This song isn't even one of my favourites on the album or even one of my favourites from Liam to be honest. It's not a bad song but I think that Liam's vocal could have been a lot better and it's certainly not one of my favourite vocal from him.

My first thought was it's about Liam.

My second thought was it's a clichéd, generic, by-the-numbers ballad tagged on to try and milk the success of Once and FWIW and isn't about anyone in particular.
