I remember seeing some pics from around 2014 of Liam, Andy, and Gem in a recording studio, not sure if it was for album 3 or not. It makes me wonder wether they actually started work on a 3rd album before disbanding?

Seems unlikely, though Andy, Gem & Liam might've been sketching a few songs for a potential future album like songwriters do on their free time, but I've never heard talks about a third Beady Eye album from any member of the band.
I think with poor album sales for the first two albums they were taking it one step at a time, gauging the effect of planned bigger exposure in festivals that fateful summer of 2014 before planning anything else.

The movie was The Longest Cocktail Party but that was to be recorded after Different Gear, Still Speeding but never happened as far as we know. The band went back into the studio after Dave Sitek finished his work with BE however that was for the deluxe / b-side tracks, Off At The Next Exit etc.

It's a shame that it never happened.
