Diamond in the Dark is my favorite of his solo songs. Liam's voice works well on the bass. I really like its structure, its rhythm, its atmosphere and I love the verse that makes "Desperate Eyes ..." The Rockfield version is even more attractive.

More Power, Everythings Electric & Diamond In The Dark. Have to say there's more 'meh' songs on here then on WMWN.

Moscow Rules, by far, but Diamond in the Dark is pretty good. I gotta give it a second listen to the album to firmly decide on favorites aside from those two.

Now I’ve listened to it all about 20 times, Id say the two that I still like more with each listen are Too Good For Giving Up and Moscow Rules.
I know not everyone loves the ballads, but I think TGFGU might become my favourite Liam solo song, just love its chorus. Could’ve been a UK #1 for Oasis.
Although I will say More Power isn’t far behind.

I listened to this last Friday befire I went to see the Liam Knebworth ‘22 film in the cinemas (I was the only one in there!) and I’m still happy with it. But I’m also surprised by how well the songs stand up to me. I love about 10/14 of it. Two are okay and two I don’t really care for.
If I were to rank them:
I’m Free Too good for giving up The joker It was not meant to be Everything’s electric Diamond in the dark More power Better days Don’t go halfway Wave
Plus I think Bless You is amazing
C’mon You Know and Sweet Children are okay. Moscow rules is okay too. Still don’t like Worlds in Need, it sounds like a DGSS castoff.

Diamond In The Dark, Everything's Electric, Worlds in Need and Better Days are the clear standouts for me. Those 4 + Too Good For Giving Up have by far the best vocal performances as well which helps elevate the songs massively. A lot of songs in this album have BE era style vocals and while I wouldn't say that it hurts those particular songs, i would say that the better vocals elevate the 5 that I listed. Liam doesn't sound bad at all when he sings softer and more nasally, but he always sounds better when he's belting and performing near the max of his range in the studio. There are moments during the chorus of Everything's Electric and the verse after the first chorus on Better Days when he sounds like his old self and just like back then it really elevates those songs and makes them sound much better than they have any right to.

I’m a big fan of “Don’t Go Halfway”. I’d love to hear Liam open with it.
