Lads, what's your thoughts about the Gas Panic solo from 01-02 era? and do you have your own personal favourite perfomance of that song? I personally love the Camden version, when the drummer didn't know where he's gonna actually stop

Ooh the times I've gone through each version I have to see which is best... I must say Rock in Rio. It build and builds into a high tempo frenzy where Noel and Whitey are flying off each other. Really intense.

I like Familiar to Millions because I'm basic. I like the way it ends and then the power of Noel and Liam both singing 'Cuz my family don't seem so familiar...' always gives me goosebumps.

The FTM version is indeed fantastic. I love how the organ part (?) at the end sounds almost like the beginning of Magic Pie.
I donβt think Iβve ever heard a bad or mediocre version of Gas Panic, but my other standouts would be Glasgow 2001, Murrayfield 2000, and Stockholm 2002 at the start of the HC gigs (which I think may have been the last time they played it, though I think there was a sound check performance of it on the DOYS tour. I could be wrong. Iβm forgetting everything lately.

I love the FTM version just for the look of pure joy on Noel's face while playing.

Me too - although this thread has taken me down the rabbit hole listening to a few other versions I was unfamiliar with.
Great recommendations.
I'm some way from being an Oasis expert, but I'd say Gas Panic! is maybe their most underrated/least known (by the general public) song?
