When looking through my selection of live bootlegs the gig at Stockholm Globe Arena in 1997 is one of my favourites, I was wondering how many people share this opinion or don't and would you like an official release?
I would like an official release at some point (but I'm not counting on it) there is footage avaliable that makes me think the whole show was professionally recorded, but I'm not sure. If we don't get an official release a full soundboard recording would be nice.

Someone posted a few years back that the arena, or maybe local news stations could film the first couple of songs on the tour, that's why we always get clips of the same tracks.
But as far as 1997 shows go I don't think it's the best. Earls Court / Sheffield were much better imo

Interesting this gig has surfaced it's head again
Few Points Id like to make
The Gig was fantastic The Gig was professionally filmed with a min of 3-4 Cameras also the Press Conference !
Regarding an official release it really only comes down to Earls Court 1997 or GMEX I would go with Earls Court as the shows were of very high standard Liams voice was still very strong the band were on fire not taking anything away from GMEX but if I was in charge and had to release a gig I would choose Earls Court 3rd Night.
The GMEX Gig needs a complete re edit in the sound department the TV Mix was ok very flat and muddy but working with the original multi track recordings and letting Noel sit and work with someone to remix the show if he enjoys that stuff not sure ? would make a massive difference.
But is it true Guigsy doesn't want to be seen in future Oasis gig releases ? the way he was edited out on the new Knebworth releases was very sad and very frustrating at times to not see him but if that's his wishes then we got to respect it

If that were the case I would love a proper release of Stockholm and GMEX from the Be Here Now tour. GMEX does definitely need a proper remix as its only when I watch it do I realise how good it is. Also the thought that theres a proper soundboard recording and potentially the full gig high quality footage of Stockholm '97 really does make me salivate. Another idea I had was that they could do CD/DVD and Blu-Ray boxsets. In this case "Oasis: Scandinavia 1997" and include the Oslo. Stockholm and Copenhagen gigs, but alas Oasis is not The Rolling Stones and getting that kind of release would be the dream. And yes, Guigsy doesn't want to be seen in future releases. But not for whole band shots

Also, were both nights at Exeter recorded? I'm aware that footage exists from one of the nights at Westpoint Arena but I was wondering about the night were Liam wears the blue parka because I really like that bootleg

This has been said in other places, but those early dates in Aberdeen, Scotland apparently are phenomenal and I’d love to hear them.
It’s my personal belief that the entire tour was recorded but unfortunately some gigs haven’t come to light.

I'd love to hear that tape There's no audience recording of that gig either so it would be gold

I always have to laugh when i see the stage, it’s so silly. But it fits the cocaine induced over blown songs. Gmex is one of my favorite gigs though

By Tommy Bagnall It'd be great to hear because according to Getting High thats when the shows started getting good (from memory) which is interesting considering how good the scandanavia gigs.Wonder why its never been shared
