Since 1995 Id say so yes.
I became a fan in 2002 at the age of 6, and I still recall about 3yrs of “uncool” stick for being a fan. Then around DBTT, everyone suddenly decided it was ‘in’ to like Oasis again.
Being a young kid who, like most, wanted to be popular, I highly doubt I’d have kept saying I liked them from 2002-2005 if I didn’t genuinely love their music. And my view hasn’t changed since.

I've always kind of been the Oasis fan of my friendship groups as far back as school.
When you are the only huge fan you can kind of assess more easily where their popularity was at and how "in" it has been to be a fan.
2005 was the period i got into them so it come at a good time when they were seen as cool again. Arctic Monkeys, Libertines and Kasabian were doing great things for "indie" music and Oasis were cited as their major influence. 2008 i'd say that started to diminish as did the feel good vibes from the band in general. Despite DOYS doing pretty well and that being the only two times i got to see Oasis, in hindsight in was right to end it where they did.

I was late twenties when Oasis came around and they were a refreshing return to the bands of my early days - in particular The Jam, The Clash, The Beat, The Specials ... Oasis will never replace those bands in my heart, but they can't be far behind, because here I am, all these years later

Went to Sheffield to watch the snooker at the weekend. Driving up the motorway, saw a registered numberplate with the letters 'LBL' on it. My mind immediately jumped to Little By Little.
That's how much I love Oasis, I see Oasis song titles in all acronyms.

And, I think it's really great how Oasis can appeal to the younger and older generation. And, I think that it'll always be like that.

But I remember when Oasis first started people were saying that they wouldn't last or be remembered in years to come. Well, I think they've been proved wrong in that case.

I'm Canadian and Oasis caught on after DM here so 1995 when Wonderwall was released. From then on, Oasis were the soundtrack of my life, almost litterally. I was in my early teen years and I used to carry around a walkman at all times and one of my friends made me a copy of Morning Glory and that's all I listened to until I taped There and Then from the TV. I listened to that so much that I can still, to this day, quote the interview bits.
I'm a reserved person and a guitar player so, unlike a lot of guys who identified with Liam, I immediately identified with Noel, hence the username. There were always guitars in my house but I didn't learn properly until I wanted to be Noel Gallagher. He also had the confidence I lacked as a teenager. I started writing songs, stealing bits and pieces of his lyrics. Thinking back on that now it was ridiculous but, teenagers are going to teenage... ha ha ha!
I became a proper fanboy. I was walking like them, dressed like them. My yearbook picture is me trying to look like a Gallagher, no smile just me thinking I look like a badass, which of course I didn't. I remember writing an email, which was a new thing, berating a TV critic who gave a bad review for Be Here Now. I heard that Bonehead and Guigsy left the band on the radio while I was doing my paper route.
As an adult things calmed down obviously. But I sang the acoustic version of Slide Away at my wedding (the version Noel did on his acoustic tour with Gem) and, of course, here I am on this forum.
I'm still a massive fan of both brothers.

2018, randomly discovered D’You Know What I Mean randomly came on through YouTube auto play listening to music, and the rest is history. I used to listen to drum and bass, and house music, but since listening to Oasis my musical landscape has changed completely, and it is thanks to that band that my music taste is now what it is. Oasis will forever be my favourite band.
