As a follow up to my thread on the Be Here Now tour. A thought occured to me on a recent rewatch of the Knebworth documentary. That the release of the gigs/live album is a one off thing. I really hope I'm wrong but what does everyone think?

That might be it as far as disc releases go - although I hope I'm wrong. Maybe things like full gigs and TV specials may creep out attached to the occasional anniversary release of various albums.
Hopefully one day Oasis will get somebody to start organising their archive and release this sort of stuff for sale online as downloads at least.
I'd love to be able to sign up for a membership that sent me a new Oasis demo/outtake/film clip every week. Be great to have something new to look forward to every Friday night and it would keep the fan forums like this regularly chatting.
Do any bands do this with their archives? I know the Beatles should but don't.

A Bob Dylan Bootleg Series style archive release series would be a great way for Oasis to open the vault properly.
A two disc release for a specific era every year or so, outside of Noel & Liam album cycles.
ONLY brand new material. And if the release required it, an expanded boxset version with extra material.

It would be great if Oasis ever did do something every week for fans online but I can't see it ever happening sadly. As for live albums we might get one from time to time. But I doubt it at the moment.

I think we will, but I don't know when. Nirvana recently did their 30th anniversary edition of Nevermind which featured 4 different live shows (which were all widely available beforehand so in my eyes it was a little underwhelming). Will we have to wait for the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe and (What's The Story) Morning Glory? for more content? I hope not.

Yeah, it’d be great to see this one restored and mastered. It’s a very good gig. And the end of an era, given when they hit the stage in New Jersey a few weeks later Liam couldn’t sing Some Might Say anymore.

I would like to see Gmex December 13th Show which was also filmed....
Gmex 14th is a great gig needs a complete re mix in the sound department from the multi tracks make it the best possible sound the TV broadcast wasn't the best
Regarding the TOTP video above you will notice a complete different edit was used different camera angles compared to the MTV Broadcast

I've heard they used the 13th as a test before they actually filmed the 14th (I could be 100% wrong on this). I don't know about that. I found where I got that information from. Believe it or not, it was from a post on the forum in 2009. Credit to Oasiscam for the original post “Hi Recently i was tracking down people who worked on the Production crew for the Oasis All Around the World MTV Broadcast and this is what I've dug up. I got in contact with a nice guy Matt Coyde who worked as a Hot Head Technician.... anyone not familiar with TV production this is someone who looks after the crane camera's i think there was 2 there on the night. this is the reply i got.... Hi Cameron. Thanks for the message. That gig was a blast from the past. I did work on the 2 Manchester dates. 13th/14th 1997 Facilities were provided by Visions or CTV I think (Bill Morris was Unit Manager I seem to recall). We Shot both nights as the first night being a test record in case anything went wrong with the broadcast the next night.” Link to the original thread: live4ever.proboards.com/thread/58804/oasis-mex-1997-nights-filmed

But it would be great if they ever do release the first night. But I guess time will tell.
