One of the more popular hits in the 2000s but that's it really.

I want to say yes, but I really don't know. I'm pretty sure Noel has played it more during his solo career than he actually did in Oasis.

I feel it’s one of the more popular Oasis songs with casual listeners, so in that respect yes. But I’d also say not quite because there are better choices. Even though the album version is decent, the song is always great live.

One of my most disliked Noel-written Oasis tunes. Why? I’ve always disliked it. I’m not a big fan of Noel’s vocals overall (although I usually don’t find them unlistenable on Oasis stuff) and I think it’s horribly boring/bland.

I've always liked it but is it a classic? No, I don't think so.

It builds up to a singalong chorus but that's about the only thing it has going for it. The lyrics are fucking awful. It's the sound of uninspired Noel trying to recreate 94-95 and missing the mark.

I would certainly fucking hope not.
In all seriousness, there's something in there. The "And it JUST don't matter now..." turn of melody is possibly the most natural roll into a chorus that Noel came up with in the 2000's. The songwriting has a certain quality. All of it is just brought out in the most dad-rock, uninspired way you could possibly attempt to treat it with.

I remember it as a kid when it was first released, and it was the first Oasis song I took notice of. I've always liked it, it does have a populist appeal to it because of its anthemic chorus. My sister, who only loves chart music, loves the song.
It's maybe similar in vain to songs like Lyla and Roll With It, it's not an outright classic ala your Live Forevers or Slide Aways but it's damn effective in what it does.

I will say the last time I saw Noel (touring with the Smashing Pumpkins) it was really the only song I thought that really got the crowd going at all.

Mmm, yes. Live is a great and casual listerners know it. It's often on the radio here in Italy.
No top Oasis tier tune but very popular.

It is popular song, that is why I think that is almost classic. If you ask me, it is shite.
Just like I think that popularity made Roll With It, for example, to be an Oasis classic, not the quality of the song.

I think it's a classic.
My "classics" from anything 2000s off the top of my head:
Go Let It Out Little by Little Stop Crying Your Heart Out The Importance of Being Idle
