I'm fully expecting more stuff on the way as I remember for the anniversaries of the first two albums they announced some stuff first and then waited a week or two before announcing the rest of it. We'll see

That got to be the worst 25 anniversary edition ever if there is no additional release like at least one gig from the BHN tour or anything.
Loved the Chasing The Sun reissues with bonus material and stuff.
Still ridiculous they didn't start a "vault series" or anything already where they release some audio/dvds from the touring years once or twice a year. Absolute no brainer and Noel must know we are desperate for stuff like that lol I know of at least 4 shows from 02-09 alone that were pro shot/recorded and Noel is sitting on

Agree 💯 But to be fair I didn’t expect anything else considering the 25 anniversary editions of DM and WTSMG was just picture discs as well… or did I miss someting? |

Surprised we’re getting this to be honest - Noel fucking hates this album. I bloody well love it.
Edit: Worst 25th Anniversary material ever. Yup Noel hates this album. What a disappointment. 😠

I think it’s remarkable that they have the audacity to use the audio from the 2016 release. And they do this with an album that so desperately needs rework as well! Amazing!

These are so pretty, just ordered the red one (they're not available on Sony Music JP anymore but are available on the Tower Records site if anyone's interested) these are not JUST pretty these are the 1st ever OFFICIAL Sony Japan vinyl pressings of any Oasis release, and they are being manufactured and mastered solely by Sony of Japan's new vinyl factory. Something you should know about Sony of Japan's pressing is that their pressings are UNBELIEVABLE. I recently got the Time Flies Box Set (JAPANESE VERSION) and they are probably the best sounding Oasis recordings i've ever heard. The vinyl is completely flawless and everything is done to such a high standard of quality. Really was blown away by the sound. So if Sony Music Japan is saying that they are doing everything for these releases and releasing them as a Limited Edition, BELIEVE ME they will be incredible. They only use the best masters, and use the best cutting techniques which is why these are released as true limited editions. I ordered all 4. Already sold out in most places online, but i do see Tower JP having them but not sure if they have international shipping. Not for everyone, but if you are looking for some of the most special Oasis vinyl releases after the original pressings, these are definitely it! |
