If the album was finished 10 days ago, could we expect a release towards the end of 2022 ? The album isn't done. He hasn't even started to properly record it with his band. He merely said he's "done" writing and demoing the songs he is taking into the studio. I'd love for a September/October 2022 release. It won't take him long to bang it out if he's got all the songs finished and has been tinkering with many of them for 1.5 years. Worst case spring 2023. Yeah I guess during that q&a for back the way we came, he said 2023

Its funny when Noel calls songs like "We're Gonna Get There In The End" and "Trying To Find A World That's Been And Gone" demos. These tunes are like 80% fully polished. Combine that with "We're On Our Way Now" which Noel said is basically the old Chasing Yesterday era demo beefed up slightly. For some bands and artists this level or production would be good enough. I always pray he doesn't over think this stuff in the studio. Oasis ran into that problem with Wheeler End because Noel's Oasis demos 1999-2005 were so fully formed and they could never really improve them much when proper sessions began.

I must admit that I haven't listened to this yet as I'm waiting for the full version before I do.

Beautiful. 1) This manages to have a verse, bridge, chorus, and outro all in under 3 min 2) He said the second half of the album has its own story, so I like that this could be part of a larger mosaic 3) Next single called “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”

It's gorgeous, but it's too fucking short! I love this kind of soundscapes in the background. Great ambience, great mood. More of that please Noel!

Also worth it pointing out that the demo is called "Demo 22" in the lnk.to URL on all his socials for the track. Great song! Then anybody tried changing the "22" in the url to "21" to see if there's any more demos accidentally hidden there?

Hyped for Noel's next song "The Way Things Were, But Could Never Be" and then the one after that he's planning to release "Things That I Said That I Wish I Could Take Back, But I Never Did In The End"

Or maybe he wants to get that Oasis greatest hits acoustic tour with the symphony out of the way first ! Can't see hm going up against Liam at Knebworth with orchestral Oasis, unless he wants the comparisons. Also, touring with a full symphony in 2022 isn't the wisest financial proposition -- with a small chamber orchestra and locally maybe ... or a Weller-ish one-off for TV perhaps.

Pretty pretty, needs to be longer though. Well, it's 'Part I', so could easily be set to be merged with another part of the song on the album... And it's just a demo. It's like a mix of On Your Own and Talk Tonight with that wistefulness of SOTSOG era stuff. Good to have something new and does fit in with the times we live in.

He'll do the summer 2022 gigs and maybe debut a new song or two but I really don't expect to see anything 'new' before the autumn - maybe a single and then spring 2023 release.
Noel's lazy.

When Noel nails wistful he really really nails it. And it's not at all the same as sad (Liam's comments not withstanding!)

It sounds like a perfect album opener, something restrained and a scene setter for something majestic.
I see it compared to the first album and Chasing Yesterday, but I don’t see how. The majority of those albums were all clunky plodding dad rock. This is anything but - it’s thankfully dreamlike and beautiful in a way those two albums aren’t..

Hopefully Noel sequences Part 1 and Part 2 of this track correctly. Unlike the MOON interludes. Way too bunched up.

I've heard in multiple interviews he's said he would like to do that and is a dream of his, will it ever happen is another question

With every minute that passes we're probably getting closer to something that's going to happen in the future. I think we're closer than any point in history to tomorrow - but I guess time will tell.

I wish Noel would get rid of that acoustic guitar sound. Sounds like James Blunt. It's drowned in soap.
Going to Flying on the Ground to this or We're on our way Now is such hit or miss. Next album in the vein or the first one please.

While I do love the first two albums, besides the odd track they were more straightforward and conventionally structured than this track is There's a more cinematic, atmospheric vibe to this, the only comparison I can think of if we're talking NGHFB is some of the early bonus material like Alone On The Rope or Let The Lord
