Like many of us, I’ve come to appreciate Noel’s music through just a guitar and myself. I learned thru our Aussie friend (we all know him and he’s the best), but anyway, the songs that sing to me and warm my soul:
Let Forever Be — acoustic and slow. Try it. Amazing. The melody is beyond words when you’re hitting those G and D chords
Purple Parallelogram— so good when it’s just you. Slower you play it, the more the genius comes to life Just Let It Come Down Over Me — makes me cry like puppy
Sail On — play it slow enough to understand how brilliant (and hard) it is to make coherent song out of simple chords
