Has anyone been going to Tom’s gigs? They have been looking great on social media Fuck. Tom's just cancelled his Berlin gig. Any idea why? |

My wild guess: lack of ticket demand. Both German dates didn't seem to interfere with anything although they were illogical if you consider the schedule. 29.04 Brighton >>> 4-5.05 Germany >>> Sheffield. Too much fuss for just two low-key gigs.

The Berlin show was not advertised at all. Even if would he sell not a single ticket. Kasabian did not sell the recent show in a smallish venue.

Rianne Downey is known on the folk scene in Scotland before going down a more pop route. Did a lot of the local clubs around the central belt and is from Belshill. Nice lass, who can actually sing, unlike that jumped up yob Meighan.

Wtf dude. He teased the full album MONTHS ago. No reason nor warning whatsoever Nah mate, you weren’t the only one I’ve been eagerly waiting to hear this album for well over a year now. I’ve been so excited about the 28th so when I saw the 5th I was confused because there was no announcement or anything, very strange and annoying. Also, why haven’t we heard much at all about Tom in mainstream media like radio x or bigger interviews. Must be trying to cancel him due to this 2020 actions.. |

Got my hands on the tracks of the deluxe version!!! 2 new tracks 2 remixes and 1 live performance.
It's quite curious because one of the tracks is also on the tracklist of the record itself. I wonder if there are two different versions of better in the dark, but listening to the snippet of today's Tom's post, sounds exactly the same.

After a couple listens I can tell that one thing that I'm definitely not going to like about the album is the structure of the tunes. Literally every single song that Tom has released has the same structure. Verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Chorus.
Nothing wrong with keeping it simple but it's not only the fact that it will get repetitive, it's because we've already heard every chorus of every song on the snippets, and once you hear the choruses there's not too much left to surprise us.
But besides that, loved Darkest Hour. The riff is great. Also the live version of Shout It Out is incredible. Kasabian level.

Dying for a leak out here, such a shame it's not receiving the hype and attention it should. It's a pretty promising record.
I always had a thing with homonym songs on albums, and Tom said The Reckoning is on a different level than the rest.

I agree, it’s crazy how he’s not getting any publicity or attention in the mainstream media his album is shaping up to be amazing. He just released ‘The Reckoning’ single, fucking great as expected
