I can’t help but feel bad for Tom. His lack of social media posts after the album tells me that it hasn’t sold that great. The signed vinyls are still for sale for Christ sake and yet NG’s signed albums sold out in minutes yesterday. It literally feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack when trying to find reviews of the album etc online, there’s just no promotion for it at all. It’s such a shame because the album truely is amazing and deserves a lot more recognition. He’s also really got me back into Kasabian prior to him leaving. They were so fucking good live. So I really hope the lack of sales doesn’t deter him from continuing and producing another album, more touring etc he should support Liam Gallagher on his next tour. Anyway, as some others have said, it’s not fair. Liam Gallagher had an incident when he grabbed Debbie by the throat, but no one gives a fuck about that anymore plus all the other things he’s done over the years. Not condoning what he did but I just don’t feel like it’s fair on Tom. In what world do you think Tom Meighan and Kasabian are on a level similar to Oasis? That's like wondering why Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus can't sell out Wembley stadium. Also, I can't remember the time Liam violently threw his partner around in front of his kid. Not just domestic violence, but child abuse there as well. Don't pity him, pity the poor kid and his girlfriend. Can you direct me to the source of that information?

SLP has a new tune out - literally not listened to the last album for more than 4 times. Heres hoping the song at least has staying power.

Been listening to Tom’s solo stuff recently - combined the songs that weren’t on the album with the album stuff in a playlist.
And I’m loving it. Some great work.
And no, this doesn’t mean I condone his actions from 2020.
Here’s my playlist;
1) Out Of This World 2) Would You Mind 3) Movin’ On 4) Let It Ride 5) Icarus 6) Put Your Foot Down 7) On For Life 8) Shout It Out 9) Rise 10) Deep Dive 11) Daytona Racing 12) Don’t Give In 13) Scared 14) Acrobat 15) Thinking On Our Feet 16) Better In The Dark 17) Everyone’s Addicted To Something 18) The Reckoning
At 18 songs/1 hour 3 minutes it’s a little big for one album. Look at it like The Reckoning Deluxe version lol. Or you can spread it into two small albums worth, with the first 8 songs being an album and last 10 being another.

I would have a slightly different variation of that list but yeah I’m still really enjoying everything he’s put out. You can’t deny the quality of what he’s producing, hope we get an album two. He’s releasing Don’t Give In as a single soon, that song is fucking fire, love it

Algorithms is a nice little, summery tune. I know its probably nothing special but i like the vibe and the message behind it.
With all the whoo-oo's it sounds a bit like a Coldplay song, though.

No, it is not nice. Kasabian was always on the edge to be kitsch, they managed to pull it off (not for everyone) with their energy, youth, band/gang mentality, great frontman, chemistry they had together.
No, I am not fucking interested at all about 45 years old Sergio Pizzorno and his songs written on acoustic guitar and sang by him.
Club Foot was great, British Legion was retarted even when their was at their prime. Everyone who knows 3 chords can write that.

British Legion is worse than I remembered. They always have problem to naturally connect chorus with verse and chorus is fucking terrible.

I liked Algorithms. Nice simple little tune after the weirdness of the last album. My only problem with it is the stadium chants and the woo's. Besides that its alright

This.
The more i listen to the chants, the more i'm feeling like being at a Coldplay gig. Which isn't a bad thing by no means.

Pleasantly surprised by Algorithms, wasn't expecting much but it's very catchy.

Tom just released a summer sessions. Pretty decent but of course nothing on social media promoting it, so strange
I still love the album and listen to it all the time. I gotta say, Don’t Give In is amazing and I can’t stop listening to it. Hoping for more tour dates soon

I gotta say, Don’t Give In is amazing and I can’t stop listening to it. Hoping for more tour dates soon I had to unfollow Kasabian and Tom on socials. It was just too painful watching both be so desperate. I liked a bunch of Tom’s solo tunes. Serge is too much as the frontman. He’s like a Spinal Tap parody. Blows me away how much I was into this band 2004-2011. Seen them 3 times. They killed it every night.

I never followed Tom so I can't say too much but yeah, Serge really does need to tone it down and most importantly someone needs to make him realise he's not as cool as he thinks he is

Just seems like a random release though Liam did it recently as well with those Apple sessions.

First of his output that I don't like much. Everyday People sounds like it is from DBLT Oasis album...OK in its own right. Sunshine sounds like a Miles Kane reject...it was bound to happen though...Will give a few more listens

Serge to me is the prime example of why not everyone is cut out to be a great front man, no matter how desperate they are to be. You can take the individual elements of a person and there can be nothing wrong per se. Take Serge, he's a decent looking fella, recognisable, not a bad singer, writes the tunes etc but he just still hasn't got the thing really good frontmen do. You either have it or you don't. There's a good reason he was stood at the side of the stage for 15+ years while a real front man was on stage.

Kind seems like rather huge cash grab to me ...starting to seriously loose respect for Tom on this. it’s the kind of thing he should be doing for free to build his following up…and the ”new empire” is so cringe. Feel like he’s being badly advised
