Fuck me, I could make an exhaustive list with this one.
And as I’ve aged and gone through my own difficulties, resulting in my furthering and much stronger insight, most Oasis material hits me much harder than two decades ago.
All that to say, Cast No Shadow is one song that has had ever lasting meaning to me. Totally relatable.
Bound with all the weight of all the words he tried to say Chained to all the places that he never wished to stay Bound with all the weight of all the words he tried to say As he faced the sun he cast no shadow
I’ll continue with continuing my list as the thread progresses. And I will continue adamantly arguing that Noel is actually a really good lyricist.
So, as it says on the tin - the thread title - what Oasis songs are most meaningful to you, and why?

One for me has to be Listen Up.
I’m not a loner, and love going out with mates, but Ive certain hobbies I always preferred doing alone like cycling and long walks. And in my teens, parents never stopped moaning about me not being with friends, which made me feel bad about what I was doing.
Then I remember how hearing that hook made me feel better. From “one fine day I’m gonna leave you all behind” to “I don’t mind being on my own”, it was basically telling me that life’s too short not to do whatever the f**k I want, alone or not.
Stand By Me is perhaps another, as one of my flaws is I often try and plan too far ahead by guessing the future. So I listen to that to remind me “Nobody knows, God only knows the way it’s gonna be”.
