I wonder what they will revisit after this Knebworth campaign, Oasis' legacy is bigger than ever. Supersonic & Knebworth 1996 are really good for their popularity. So my question is: what will they revisit after Knebworth?
Finally Finsbury Park 2002? Especially Noel is always very fond of Heathen Chemistry and that tour, it would be a nice release.
I can see them releasing one of the Be Here Now concerts at some point, they are both positive about that tour, since it was absolute madness for them. I can't see documentary coming about that period, since it would be only really interesting for fans like us, not for the mass.
I think we will get a 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory, those two albums will keep selling and will always get some interest, I'm sure we'll get a 2CD version of the latter 4 albums too, with maybe a deluxe version of Don't Believe the Truth, since that album was a return to form for Oasis in the eye of the public.
What really would be interesting is a documentary about the last tour/split, but I can't see that happen anytime soon, since Noel & Liam wouldn't want to collaborate in such a movie about that subject. But I think the general public would be interested in that part of Oasis, more than the Be Here Now tour, or period of the departure of Bonehead and Guigsy in 1999.
Let's discuss...

I think they'll eventually release the "best of the 00s" compilation with rarities Noel talked about a few months ago.

They need to start releasing things that are in the vaults, not officially releasing like in shops. Just downloadable gigs etc.. They'll make a fortune, other bands have
The guy on the Apple interview did touch upon it, so Noel is aware it's wanted

Sadly, probably another DM / MG deluxe super deluxe boxset super mega super, with a special packaging but hardly anything new.
Wishlist:
BHN rework SOSTOG or DBTT or DOYS era outtakes Noel's demos from 98 to 09 Andy, Gem, Liam demos from 00s to 09
Maybe a "real" release of the MTV unplugged.

A SOTSOG boxset should be the next music we get, or at least a 2 disc edition wrapping up the b-sides and chucking in a few rarities to get people to buy it (For One So Young finally).
The next film should be 1996-1999, picking up after Knebworth and ending with the early SOTSOG sessions detailing when the Bonehead / Guigs line-up fell apart. Then one final film to wrap up the 'Supersonic Trilogy', covering the Gem and Andy period.

I said Other because I don't think we'll get anything else. Noel hears us, but will he listen?

We might get something in the future like the compilation as already mentioned but I somehow don't think that we'll get any live gigs any time soon.

Not expecting it, but I just want to hear the 1988 "Noel's Tunes" tape at some point in my life. Noel must have a copy or some other recordings of those songs. Or be able to procure the tape that was sold. I've got to hear music put to the lyrics we know of for "England" and I've got to know what songs with titles like "Womb to Tomb" and "Baj" sound like.
I skipped out on the deluxe box sets for the first three albums, but if I hadn't and they released new, better sets just a few years later I'd feel pretty ripped off.

But if they did reissue SOTSOG, the best addition would be the BBC Maida Vale sessions from 2000. This includes the full band electric version of Talk Tonight (plus SMC, RNRS, MG and WFL).

I really want to hear a full Be Here Now rethink. Other unreleased material I found great to listen to a couple of times but there's generally a reason it's unreleased. I'd still much rather a new Oasis album!

Noel has made repeated claims circa 2005 - 2008 that there’s an epic seven minute version of Record Machine, with Liam on vocals and laden with guitar solos, locked in the vault. I have wanted this release ever since.
The demo version leaked in May 2008 was a fantastic moment - and I got to experience the madness of that leak live on this forum. One of my favorite memories of being a member. It really was madness. The demo version is good, and Noel’s polished solo version gets the job done too. But a proper recording and release of Record Machine would have been a gargantuan song for Oasis. Missed the opportunity of maximizing its true potential.
I am yearning for that epic version locked away - should it actually exist, Noel.

My number one desire would be a full rethink/remix of Be Here Now, but we all know the chances of that are beyond slim. However, one thing I do think is possible, even if it's not a big, widely promoted release, is a live album of the 1997 G-Mex performance from the Be Here Now tour. As despite the album not being universally acclaimed these days, some of those performances are thought of as being pretty great.
Aside from that, maybe a sort of Masterplan sequel that covers the best of all the b-sides from 1999 to 2009.
Although it seems some here want it, personally I wouldn't expect any reissue of SOTSOG. Neither Noel or Liam seem to rate it anymore, and I feel that the public interest just isn't there like it was for Be Here Now. After all, it was their lowest seller in the UK, and whenever Oasis pop up in 'worst albums' lists its almost always for SOTSOG. In short; it has the worst general reputation of all their albums.
