Many members who joined in 2002-2004 are still active and many oldies come back after a while.
It says enough why this place is the biggest Oasis fan community on internet.
So many great souls who's been sharing their info, stuff, exchanging their opinions/passions for Gallaghers and music.
I've built up a great friendship with a handful members through years.
We've had ups and downs, yet we're not fragile.

Would never have thought I’d still be here after latching onto the Dig Out Your Soul hype train in August 2008. Social media accounts have come and gone in the time since yet never thought for a second about not coming back here. Thanks for the great discussion everyone, testament to the quality folk here who’ve kept us coming back for more. Long may it continue.
P.S. I’m still impressed that I’m averaging a 1000 posts a year - it’s been pretty much almost a 1000 since I started with no variation at all!

Cheers! Many Good times with Scott and many others. I appear every once and a while here. Busy with career, friends, and my girl at times. I never became the family man. So many forums disappeared throughout the years with the people. Crazy how the internet has evolved since this place started. Facebook groups have taken over the forum platform. I do post on Twitter as @ Oasisulitmate. My love for Oasis and what their music has brought to me throughout my life are many memories. Sometimes still playing them in my office. Crazy how it all turned out. Not sure about Liam's attempt with Knebworth or Noel wanting to sell the Oasis catalog. Both of them are old enough to be mature and adult enough, you think? But, for Oasis management, Noel Gallagher's management and Liam Gallagher's management to a point have not been a great support to their online fans or at least friendly. Oasis management from 2007ish or 2008 to present all but nearly killed off many online communities or put the fear of God into them. Wonsaponatime is cancer. He hates this forum and has caused issues with other sites in the past. He's not a fan nor a friend to the fans. He works for the man "Corporation." I chatted with many people from all parts of the world. There have been marriages from members meeting each other from online communities like this one, kids from those marriages, divorces, rendezvous, and fans who are physically in poor health small enjoyments like here. So many were college students became Teachers, IT professionals, Doctors, Editors, Fashion Designers, Lawyers, plumbers, police officers, and more. Cheers again to this forum! |
