What i find so hilariously ironic is that its reached #1 while Knebworth 1996 only reached #4. And whats more, its done it on the anniversary of the week Oasis famously didn’t make #1 with Roll With It.
I won’t lie; they picked a good week to release it, as it sold considerably less than Council Skies which reached #2. However, to have had two live albums and three studio albums hit #1 in under 6 years remains a feat. Well done LG 👏

#1 official! Well done LG. Pretty bloody immense - that's a serious achievement. Am I also correct in the fact the only tune not available via cd or YouTube (official or decent quality) is WMWN? Hopefully Why Me Why Not will appear on YouTube soon as well. But yes, well done Liam for getting another number one album. |

The album is full of Noel’s songs. He probably makes more money from these releases than Liam. But it must be frustrating for him to know that people prefer the Liam-led Oasis Why would he be frustrated? He was never the frontman. He's hardly going to get upset that people like Oasis songs sung by the singer of Oasis. It was his job to write the songs for the singer. I imagine Liam's happy with the no. 1 and Noel's happy with the extra pocket money, smiles all round. |

Also it was a double album, so a bit more expensive … possibly why it couldn’t pass Ed Sheeran and Abba albums that were only a few weeks old.
