I feel so pathetic….trying to persuade a mate to go with me who’s not really an Oasis fan.
My old man won’t go as despite being a big fan and a Mancunian, he’s turning 60 next year and says he’s too old for all that.
Pop, as soon as you’re of age, you’re going in an old folks home.

For whatever reason Oasis was just never something I had in common with friends growing up (b. 1996). They all just loved rap and 2000s pop/EDM. The only fellow fans I really had were my dad, and a cousin who now has mental issues so theyre both a no. Sounds like youre a local anyways, if need be. As I might be in the North West but if i have to I'll f*ing go alone.

It’s easy passing a few hours away with likeminded hardcore fans 😂

I realise I’m in ridiculous question territory here…but what are we expecting regarding ticket prices?

I expected a better line up tbh Michael kiwanuka is a great artist but I'm not sure about kasabian without tom Agreed Serge is no front man compared to Tom. Hardly Kasabian at all in my opinion.

I've pre-ordered a bundle, but I'm not going. I prefer see him next tour. Don't get me wrong, I'm not living in the past, but for me the legacy of Knebworth remains with Oasis.I'm happy for those who are going inclusief my friends in Manchester though. Good to see that young generation can make their Knebworth. This is kind of where I'm at with it, mimmi. On that second bold bit. I think the younger generation can have 'their Knebworth', without it actually being at Knebworth! To me this is Liam Knebworth in which case...which will NEVER happen he should be playing his hits sans Oasis stuff. Which will never ever in a million years happen. I would love a solo career heavy set. I love Oasis but it's time to put that in the box for such a huge solo man gig. This will never ever fly but to truly cut the apron ties would be nice once for a LG gig. Many bands artists play entire classic albums...could we not have something like this for a one off gig?

To answer my own question - £65 plus booking fee. £75 then by the time it's all added up. Outrageous (that's not on Liam, I know). Yep...to tickets for his first solo stuff tour were very reasonable. That's super steep

I'm sure if Noel did Knebworth today, singing only Oasis songs he wouldn't have the same turnout and success as Liam. People mostly want to hear Oasis through Liam's voice and attitude and his solo songs also offer a similar vibe. That's why things work with him.

It's fascinating how you manage to bring noel into every discussion Of course people want to hear liam singing rock n roll star etc, he was the voice of oasis But the point is, would liam still be playing at Knebworth if he only performed his songs from his solo albums/the songs he wrote in oasis? No way

No way People like the full package: "I want Liam singing Oasis and a handful of his solo hits." They want to get high with Liam at Liam's concerts. It's Liam "doing that" whatever they want. And that's fine. The solo albums came in top of the charts, so people like those too, but it's only natural that they want to get high on the energy of old Liam-style Oasis.
