This will genuinely make Noel Salty. I can't help but feel that Liam is doing this to stick it to Noel. "If you aren't going to do some Oasis one offs with me then I'll do everything myself" Time is passing and he can't wait around for his brother. Not so sure about that. Noel seems genuinely at peace these days with where he's at right now -- and he also seems increasingly at a kind of peace (if a complicated one) with Liam carrying the Oasis torch, which in the end gives him the gift of being able to escape from its grip and do what he wants to do. He might feel a few twinges of jealousy, but I don't get the feeling he's pining to relive Knebworth in his mid 50s. If he wanted to do that, he knows it's there for him, but he chooses something else. Liam does want it and now he can have it. If anything, the power balance between them is the best it's ever been. That's what salty means though. A bit jealous so you agree. He will definitely feel it a bit. It doesn't matter how much he says he doesn't care. It's human nature. He doesn't want to do it but he will feel a bit Salty today and when it happens. |

If it comes to it, Kings Cross is 40 odd minutes on the train to Knebworth. Cambridge a little more than that. Those places obviously provide quite a lot more accommodation options.

Got an airbnb booked that's about 14 miles away from Knebworth. No idea how we'll get back to it, like. Cross that bridge when we come to it. |
