In the worst case we can spend night in train station or bar or something, not nice but it’s just one night. I’m more worried about the weather tbh Forecast is fine 19/20 degrees and sunny spells

What time do you think the car park will be kicking everyone out? Hoping to get a few hours sleep before leaving

I’m more worried about the weather tbh They kicked everyone out the train station when I tried that at the 96 gig. I'll be out the venue before the last song is done to make sure history doesn't repeat itself!

Pretty sad that I had to sell my tickets in the end but at least a Sigrid gig on Friday is some sort of consolation. This way, I get to see her for the first time and I'll be able to afford tickets for Liam's EU tour in time as well. I'm sure that will be pretty epic as well.

There's far better places they could have had this. That's not on Liam, but the promoters etc. And if they were shutting certain train stations they should have organised to have more capacity. I'd understand if this gig was near Leeds or Manchester etc, but it's a 30/40-min drive from London... one of the biggest cities on the planet. As for the Big Green Coach Company, only having buses go back to the O2 in London is absolute madness, too. A proper shambles, there's no excuse for it.

Well I'm looking forward to it. I think it's a great idea to play Knebworth as people like me missed out in 96. It's a shame about the trains but there are alternatives. I've got my coach booked, both nights. I can't wait!

Apologies if this has been asked but I can’t be arsed rifling through - will this be broadcast live on any radio station? If so which one? Many thanks x

At the Ethiad, I think the merch is pretty disappointing, the tour poster is the album cover with some writing on it! I think the WMWN tour poster was much better and more thought out.

I'm saying that the person's solution that I quoted was for him to be out before the encore. I also don't think the trains will be empty, and the last train to London is at 12:30 from Stevenage, not 1:30

I've got my coach booked, both nights. I can't wait! I am looking forward to it... I just don't see why we need to be sad about missing out on Knebworth... like, it's just a country house and park (I've been for a wedding!). It's not the place that's special, it's the gig. I was 1 when Oasis played Knebworth so I can't be sad about missing out. But to me it wasn't the fact that they played Knebworth that was special, it's what those gigs meant, the scale etc, the coming together. Now, Liam is doing Knebworth. Buzzing for him, and it'll be great I'm sure, but I don't really feel the need to have gone to Knebworth and I think everything around it has made it more annoying. That being said, that's just me, I like to know a general plan etc and don't really fancy being stranded in the middle of Hertfordshire for a night. There isn't alternatives, the coaches sold out weeks ago. Had already paid for the place in London and the tickets down there by the time any news of train shortages were announced. I'm sure it will be fine but it's definitely tempered my excitement for the gig. That will come tomorrow though I'm sure!

A few negative Nelly's on here but me and my group of friends are absolutely buzzing for the gig.
Feels like a proper moment helped by the bank holiday lead up.
Can't wait!

Look I'm buzzing for it, I'm going down to London today and I'm sure it's going to be great. I think fans should come first with stuff like this is all, and they never do. That's annoying. But it'll be a great day!

I'm sure it will be fine but it's definitely tempered my excitement for the gig. That will come tomorrow though I'm sure! You said it there pal- you were 1 at the time. I was 17 and missed tickets - engaged phones - and regret to this day I didn’t show up and buy from a tout. So to me, it’s a second chance. And Knebworth 1996 was huge for a multitude of reasons. One of those was because it was at Knebworth itself - prior home of Floyd, Zeppelin and Queen -so it was the anointing of Oasis into that category and company. So Liam - through this gig, to me anyway - is reaffirming himself into that tier, while “coming home” to his own legacy, to giving the kids and a few of us oldies a ‘’moment” day out! Or maybe I’m just being dramatic in my old age! 🤣

Tbh though I reckon it will all be okay. Not perfect, but it will all work out in the end.

Reply from the train company asking about travel from Knebworth: 'I do hope this finds you well and thank you for getting in touch. Having checked your journey on the 4th of June I am unable to find any information to say the station will be closed. All indications are services will be running: ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/KBW/KGX/040622/2230/dep#outwardJump I have also checked for any Planned Engineering Works and there are none on the 4th of June: www.greatnorthernrail.com/travel-information/plan-your-journey/planned-engineering-work but please do check on the date of your journey. I do hope this helps and that you enjoy your journey and your concert. Kind regards Hazel Customer Relations Advisor' So perhaps Knebworth will be open after all and they're just assuming that by putting a message out people won't bother trying it.
