It's absolutely shocking tbh And in all honestly, the fact that it's Knebworth - and not just 'some other venue' - is what's made it worse. I've said it before, but there is absolutely no need for this gig to be held at Knebworth. It's not breaking any records, it's not doing anything, and the venue isn't great anyway. Exactly. Playing it literally just because Oasis once did and probably to show Noel he can too. But I've just realised I can switch to Manchester and get a refund for Knebworth if I prove my purchase. So doing that now. Did you ever go to an Oasis gig?

Well I for one - having missed out on tickets the first time in 1996 - am beyond delighted!

Well I for one - having missed out on tickets the first time in 1996 - am beyond delighted! There’s a bit of hysteria going on. Milton Keynes in 05’ had cancelled trains, cancelled buses, it was a joke. I’ve been to Festivals that are chaos getting in and out. Generally speaking, you add 80,000 people to almost any location and infrastructure will struggle badly. Especially outside the major centres.

I really really REALLY hope Liam performs “Roll It Over”. That song deserved to be played on the SOTSOG tour but Noel was too much of a pussy.

Sheffield Arena and Wembley Stadium (the night Noel let the crowd sing the whole of DLBIA) Why do you ask sir?

I agree but like you say even well organised festivals can't cope. I tried everything to find a viable route back but after all coaches got snapped up to where i live it became impossible. I'm still looking foward to the Etihad but gutted i can't be at what feels like the main event.

I only asked because chaos getting there and getting out is often part of the game. Wembley for example, horrendous. I totally understand the concern. I live within 20 mins and given they are shutting the roads in Stevenage, I'm not sure where I'm going to have to get me and my step daughter to get a lift home. I just think its nothing new but the reaction to it seems different.

There seems to be 8-10 trains listed to be heading back to London after the gig, if you were to pick a decent spot at the venue and leave on time I'd say its doable.

Do you think we will need cash at Knebworth or will we be able to pay whatever we will need to pay for there with credit card?

Either make your way to the back for the encore and shoot off asap or ensure you're not hitting Stevenage station for prime time (11.45 and 12.30). It won't be any different than any big gig.

Booked a return taxi. Staying in St Albans managed to get an Air BnB, only half hour from venue. Shitting myself that someone is just going to jump in my taxi though for the return journey.

Rented a car to get to and from the gig - no boozing after 6 for me. Daft as f*ck that car park passes could only be bought by UK residents. Gonna have to find parking somewhere else around Knebworth or Stevenage and enjoy the walk after the gig.

Looking at the above PDF it is saying to try avoid trains by going via car or coach. I cannot see people travelling into London at that time for Jubilee celebrations. I would imagine those going away will do so on the Thursday and most will stay local. The trains will be empty. Well, they won't be empty - they'll be plenty of people going to them on the way back.

In the worst case we can spend night in train station or bar or something, not nice but it’s just one night. I’m more worried about the weather tbh
