Seems that Knebworth train station will be shut, but Stevenage station will be open. So bit of a walk post gig to get back to London. Coaches seem sold out now and of course, all hotels went ages ago. Really does seem like the powers that be are making this gig as difficult as possible to get to/from. I think this is what we're going to now have to do. This is a right fucking mess. How the fuck have they made getting back to FUCKING LONDON so hard?

Might be to ease pressure on the trains by stretching people out getting them to go to Stevenage. i've just seen this too - our plan was going to be going from Kings Cross to Knebworth and then back. Trainline and all the other booking agents say trains back from Knebworth are still running. Really confused. As someone who lives close by, would you reccomend the walk to Stevenage? The gig is due to finish at 22:30 and the last train from Stevanage to Kings is 0030. I cannot fucking believe they would be shutting the trains. It's a fucking farce. The walk is around 45 minutes to and hour. If you got away fast that gives you 5 or 6 trains to go at? Thameslink, Northern and LNER stop at Stevenage on the way to Kings Cross/St Pancreas.

This is on the ticketmaster site.Pretty worrying as I'm staying at Kings Cross.Had a room booked at Stevenage but Ibis wankers cancelled it! Fuck know's what I'm going to do? Please avoid travelling by train due to VERY limited capacity over the Jubilee weekend. If you must arrive by train, use the Stevenage rail station, located two miles from Knebworth Park but we do not advise anyone to travel by train as there are no services following the event to get you home. We advise you book alternative transport to avoid disappointment. There is a pre-bookable coach service from all major cities in the UK operated by Big Green Coach. Please check their website and book in advance to guarantee your spot. There will be NO shuttle bus from Stevenage Station to site. Knebworth Station will be closed so you will be unable to get a train there.

I booked the BGC in advance; i have a round trip, the bus home says its leaving at 11:45pm.
Wondering if there is any risk to not getting on, even if you have a ticket.

Arrogance and nostalgia in equal measure, I'd guess.

Not putting this on LG, it's just an absolute farce to get to tbh and especially doing it on Jubilee weekend. I'm buzzing for it, I just think it's a crap choice

Urgh it's putting a bit of a damper on it already for me. If I could swap the tickets for the Etihad I would.

definitely nostalgia, and cashing in on oasis knebworth publicity. Would have made more sense all round to have done a couple of nights at Wembley instead.

What date will be better Friday or Saturday? I think Saturday coz it seems the biggest fans bought tickets for the 4th so atmosphere is supposed to be better... But Liams voice may be better on Friday

My friends in Manchester are on the same boat as most of you guys. Their reservation for the hotel in Knebworth got cancelled so they have to travel by train from London to Knebworth and back to London again. Hopefully they'll catch the train back to London. I feel sorry for all the people who have to walk 4 miles to the gig and another 4 miles after the gig. What a mess.

Got a more promising update from Thameslink today.
Thank you for getting in touch with us and I hope my email finds you well.
I’m pleased to confirm Knebworth station will be fully operational for the duration of the Liam Gallagher events and throughout the Jubilee weekend. Knebworth station will be running to the usual timetable but we’re advising any customers to check their journeys before travelling.
Please be aware due to the distance between the venue and the station there may not be enough time to make the last scheduled service. Knebworth station has limited connections via the local bus network and there’s no taxi rank or local taxi service in the village so waiting times can be 30+ mins as standard.
Due this we’re advising for attendees of the Liam Gallagher concert to travel via Stevenage for both their inbound and outbound journeys on both days. This has been in line with previous major events at Knebworth House such as Sonisphere.
Thanks again for getting in touch, and I hope this helps to answer any questions may have. Kind regards Tina Customer Relations Advisor

Hello, my hotel is located in earls court and i'm going to the concert with the big green coach which is scheduled to leave at o2. I intend to reach the departure of the bus by subway on Saturday morning. Do you know if the Queen's Jubilee has an impact on the underground? are the lines working normally on Saturday? I could go there without problem? sorry but i'm french, i don't know much about London let alone a jubilee weekend Thank you !

Hi all, I’m off to Knebworth for the 2nd night and was just wondering something. My coach gets to Knebworth for around 11:00, how close to the front will this get me. Hoping it isn’t too near the back. Not sure if anyone has been before and has any idea about this?

Anyone got their car park tickets yet? #worried wrote ticketmaster a couple of minutes ago - got this standard mail: "Thanks for your email. Your tickets haven't been sent out yet, but it's nothing to worry about – we quite often receive the tickets directly from the venue or event organisers and sometimes they don't arrive with us until a bit nearer the time. As soon as we get the tickets in, we'll print them and send them out to you. We keep the Ticket Dispatch page on our these instructions.. If you bought them as a gift and you don't think you'll have them in time to put inside a card, you can always create your very own Ticketmaster Gift Receipt at: www.ticketmaster.co.uk/giftreceiptsIf you still haven't received your tickets by 5 days before the event, please let us know and we'll make arrangements to make sure you get into the event. Any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to get in touch."
