Yep. Anyway, back on topic, I was thinking today that Liam and Bonehead will be the only two Oasis members who have played more than twice at Knebworth after next June.

I'll be shocked if there's a third night. I don't think he wants to or trying to overshadow 1996 or try to best Robbie. Two nights is enough. I don't think his voice will be good enough for three nights in a row either.Ā The way I see it, Robbie Williams did it at pretty much the height of his fame/mainstream relevance, like Oasis. He did three nights, and while I donāt know exactly what the demand was, Iām pretty sure it wasnāt enough for 20 sold-out nights like Oasis. In short, Oasis could have won that race if they wanted. And going off his last UK tour stats, at this stage in his career I doubt Robbie could sell out one night. So I doubt it really matters to Liam.

Would be great to see Alan White perform a few songs that weekend with Liam and Bonehead.

Would love to hear Round Are Way again. I hope I Am the Walrus will be the song they'll only play at the reunion. I always thought that would be Acquiesce, but Liam is playing it now.

We need Scott McLeod on bass. Ha, ha, ha, seriously though I doubt very much that Liam is even in contact with him.

At āonlyā 80k per night, why Knebworth? Why wouldnāt that be Wembley venue instead? Just curious.

By the time you've stuck a stage in Wembley stadium in it's standard configuration (not like the Foo Fighters in the middle) you won't get 80K in Wembley. Knebworth is bigger. He'll either do Wembley Stadium at the end of the C'mon You Know tour cycle (2023 / 2024) or he'll wait for album number 4 I reckon. At this stage, with the announcement tonight of the Etihad Manchester and Hampden Park Glasgow, he only needs Wembley Stadium to basically complete the set of God tier Oasis venues IMO. Earls Court's and Maine Road have been knocked down.

Funny you should mention that, I looked that place up recently and was surprised it looks pretty much like a glorified village hall Brilliant that they played there though, especially on the Be Here Now tour. The same can be said for BIC as well where I saw them in 2008, very small compared to usual venues I saw them in, amazing gig though.

While we're talking tour dates, If heās going for matching global Oasis status, then he better come and do some big-time promo for the album in the States as well. There won't be giant stadium dates here, but we donāt care about that. (Me, I prefer smaller venues anyway. I guess maybe itās to do with the high point of oneās youth ā for me it wasnāt in a giant field but smashed up against the stage, the singerās spit and energy in my face, in a sweaty, packed rock club. I still find that the height of bliss all these years later.) He's not done a true coast-to-coast North American tour solo at all yet. Conquer America, Liam.

I wish they had set the capacity at 125,000 or even 100,000 each night at knebworth, I think they've undersold themselves a bit there...
But in any case, Liams playing stadiums now, unbelievable. By the end of 2022 assuming C'mon You Know is a massive success he'll be as big as oasis was (not including the 90s).
What could be next?

Not official but currently the best we have. Maybe that's all the tickets they had allocated. Hopefully it's the full 125k, or personally I don't see the point. And this bullshit about being able to swap your Knebworth tickets for another gig is ridiculous. Undermines the whole thing

Off Topic, but Ticketmaster are fast approaching Viagogo for being everything that's wrong with the gig ticket industry, fuck them. I wish SeeTickets got a bigger amount of the tickets.

Now seeing loads of people swapping the Knebworth tickets for etihad. Which now makes tickets fir tgat show become incredible hard to get hold off. Never ever seen something like this happen before.
