In the MM podcast, Noel said that Liam's vocals have been 'reworked' for the film. He said the end credits confirm this. Haven't seen the film yet so obviously don't know what it says in the credits. Can anyone shed light on this?

Can anyone shed light on this? They did sound a bit different. I'm not 100% sure what they did with them in all honesty, might have been some compression given that he was quite shouty with his vocal delivery throughout both gigs, suspect the nose candy and adrenaline was twisting his melons man. I wasn't what I wanted but it was very good. Can't wait for the BluRay to watch the concerts, unlikely to watch the documentary again though.

Just got home from seeing it here in Gainesville, FL. I was shocked to see I think 8 or 9 other people in the audience tonight. It is the only night the movie is playing here, and unfortunately none of my friends could come that promised they’d join. Either way, it was probably for the best. I cried from “Cast No Shadow” through “Some Might Say” and all the way through to “Slide Away”. Honestly the doc was the closest feeling I’ve ever had to being back in ‘96, in my parents house listening to the first two records for the first time. I really do miss pre internet concerts and music in general. It was such an exciting time that I can’t see people ever getting back to. It’s so great to have seen some younger fans there, it really gives me hope that guitar rock and well written, anthemic music will one day have a moment to shine again. Looking forward to seeing Wild Nothing do their thing live in a few weeks! If anyone hasn’t listened to them and would like to hear some current well written music, definitely check them out. They’ve got a great songwriter.

Maine Road 2nd night is the king for me Liams vocals are scary Incredible will always be my fav gig but cant wait to sit down enjoy some beers and finally watch the knebworth gigs uncut Unfortunately they cut a lot. I really had hoped we would get the entire two nights worth of video, but it definitely isn’t that. That being said, it’s definitely worth watching if you were a fan back then. The documentary brings it all back mate. I cried buckets into my mask.

For those who have already seen Knebworth 1996. Objectively... What do you think were the best performances besides Slide Away?

For those who have already seen Knebworth 1996. Objectively... What do you think were the best performances besides Slide Away? For me, The Masterplan and Champagne Supernova. I never paid much attention to John Squire’s contribution until I saw it on the big screen. It’s just crazy watching him play.
