Yay or nay?
Give us a list of favourite dream pop tunes.
I don't know what exactly is dream pop as it could refer to lysergic trips of the kind John Lennon was having in the mid 60s, or is it the teenage angst ridden echoey stuff that seemed to start in the 1980s with John Hughes movies?
Whatever it is, I'd like to hear more of it.

No idea if this counts, but it's guitar pop with a somewhat dreamy feel to it.

I don’t know what exactly dream pop is, but I love Bloom by Beach House. Lazuli is my very favourite song.

And if this isn't dream pop, it should be. One of the best songs of last year.

Recent dream pop tune you may like mattWhen I think of dream pop classics, I obviously think of Mazzy Star's discography and their signature song you might be familiar with: "Fade Into You" Then of course, Cocteau Twins and their magnum opus, "Heaven or Las Vegas". Also, some bands who are kind of inbetween genres and could be classified as dream pop, like The Sundays or Galaxie 500. And the proto "dream pop" song:
