Hopefully if there's nothing left to milk us for they might reunite for a tour.

Hopefully if there's nothing left to milk us for they might reunite for a tour. There's plenty, they're just going to drip feed us with shite releases.

BBC Sessions Finsbury Park (big chance I think this one) Wembley 2009 (was supposed to get a release, but then they split) Anthology 00's compilation (Noel mentioned this) Reissue of the last 4 albums Be Here... Naked (I still think Noel finished this one already) There and Then boxset with both Earls Court & Maine Road shows

I think it would be good to have a definitive 00's compilation....It would be great to cut all the fat and have the greats of those latter albums with some unheard demos added on. I'm sure many people will disagree with me... A compilation like this doesn't interest me in the slightest - can easily make my own post BHN "best of" compilation. Sure - a disc of unreleased outtakes and demos from that era would be great but they might as well put them on an Anthology style release. I think Oasis should just start their own site where they upload an unreleased demo or soundboard gig every Friday afternoon. Fans can buy each track individually or for a discount subscribe for the whole year. Be nice for us Oasis fans to have something to look forward to all week knowing there's something "new" on the way every Friday night. Maybe they could kick off the week on Mondays with a rare video upload as well.

a lot of the be here now tour shows seem to have been pro shot. even the more obscure ones. there is actially a shit load of footage. also seems to be a lot of behind the scenes footage from that tour judging from the acquiesce gmex video they gave us. they are sitting on a massive amount of stuff from that period. seems like they would have enough to make a documentary like lord dont slow me down. from the acquiesce video it actually seems like they planned to but never released it

I tried to do my best to see which shows I could identify. Oakland, Aberdeen, Earls Court, Wembley, Fairfax and Budokan were the only ones I could see/identify.

Pardon my ignorance, but quite a few of what you would consider to be iconic gigs appear to be pro shot. Would there any significant barriers to them being released? I often wonder why artists don't release more live material, its surely fairly cheap to produce?

Definitely FINSBURY PARK, plus the backstage interviews and more.Everything we see in the Little By Little DVD but complete. I lived this era going to the cybers every day. I remember the following days...were people share their photos of the gig...in a very low quality...And all the stories regarding the weather, the mud, the support bands and everything.
Finsbury nights...is part of the Holy Grail of Oasis.Everyone should know it.
Other gigs...mmm...not in that level but probably The Red Rocks gig...or Heaton Park ...mmm
As for unpublished material: All the unrealised demos Noel found recently....(This going to happen...) Including, the BHN demos with the band. All the alternative takes of the HC sessions.
The full BHN rethink, including b-sides.

I sure that there's loads of good quality Oasis gigs which were filmed but have never been released.

The steam rising off the crowd! True but slightly disgusting story: when I came out of that gig my ticket was white because the sweat from my arse had made the ink run out. Through jeans... X

I think anything 2005 onwards live from Oasis is best left in a vault. And i say that as someone who loved being at Wembley 2009.
It'd look very tame in comparison to what Liam is sounding like now and it adds nothing to the legacy of Oasis. I could see them more releasing stuff like that for free on the channel at some point down the line.

I bet that the 2000s compilation will come out, probably just delayed due to the Knebworth doc.

I bet that the 2000s compilation will come out, probably just delayed due to the Knebworth doc. I found Noels description of that 2000s compilation to be quite vague. It sounded like a best of the 2000s but Stop The Clocks wasn't a best of the 90s. I find it weird to have the only official best of not to be a reflection of just the 90s if the follow up is just the 00s.

Stupid suggestion but has anyone ever thought of putting a petition together to release both maine road gigs? I feel like it would get a lot of fan interest and could lead to something.

Maybe, a blue ray dvd would be nice along with a cd but would they really release it again. But a boxed set would be great and surely they have to release one one day.

I love the idea and those gigs definitely deserve some sort of live album treatment but it did get a DVD release back in the 90s. Not sure the band is gonna feel the need to drop another 1996 live album so soon after Knebworth. Ideally a Be Here Show would be splendid but I doubt Noel will green light such an idea.
