so damn close...if Utd can beat Chelsea, then the gap to first if smaller too....a v exciting prem race could be about to begin
chelsea are struggling, no denying that:
1-1 vs Everton (Prem)
1-1 vs. Charlton, lost on penalties (Carl. Cup)
4-2 win vs. Blackburn (Prem), v unconvincing tho
0-1 loss vs. Real Betis (CL)
while Arsenal really are starting to find their form, esp with Camps and Henry back...
this is what the Prem is about...Chelsea are now in freefall...well almost...cant wait to see what Mourinho says after todays loss, fucking arrogant moron

first off, just cos Wigan came up doesnt automatically mean they are crap...they are second for a reason...will that last? probably not...but it's foolish to laugh at them in the form they are in...
Arsenal and Utd have a game in hand, so at best the 2 teams are 8 and 7 pts respectivly out of first...i'll take that over the 14pts (11 if win the game in hand) we were behind last weekend...
Also, Chelsea are REALLY struggling...it really depends how they respond...Arsenal play Chelsea in December (the 18th...i begin Winter Break then)...if we win that, the gap could be very very small....
So i don't understand how you can still be so arrogant in the view that Chelsea will win...
the race really is on for everyone (including Wigan)
just look how close everyone is (bar chelsea, but that gap is being closed down too...)
i know one thing tho...the Prem just became a lot more exciting with that result today...
and, come May if chelsea are top, then you can say i'm wrong...but m8, we're in NOVEMBER!! 11-12 games in...ffs its not even close to being over

To say otherwise is fucking horse shit. the best situation wigan could hope for is to do what everton did last year and sneak a Champ Lge spot, and even that's very unlikely it'll take certainly 80, and probably 90, points to win the league, and the simple fact of the matter is wigan will not get that many points i can't believe i'm actually arguing over wigan winning the league this season! EDIT : i've realised why this bizarro-world debate is taking place... 1 - i'm arguing with a wigan fan in Dilly, fair enough 2 - the other person i'm arguing with is american and americans know sweet f.a. about the beautiful game. period. this is the same guy who said 2 weeks ago that wenger should be sacked for fucks sake |
