PBS (in the US) is airing the six part documentary created by Dick Carruthers (directed ..There & Then, Familiar to Millions, the 10th Anniversary Definitely Maybe film and the production bits shown at Knebworth) about rock photography. Oasis features prominently in episode 2 (which aired last Friday, but can be streamed online) as Jill Furmanovsky is interviewed about her experience photographing the band. She tells a pretty great anecdote about the 1995 photo session in Paris where Liam and Noel were at odds with each other (won't spoil it for those who want to watch it). Kevin Cummins and Chris Floyd who both photographed Oasis early on also feature in the series, though I suspect that they will be involved talking about other bands like Joy Division, etc, based on the episode descriptions. Anyway, its worth a watch so far, especially if you are into classic rock, punk and/or photography. You can read more about it on PBS's website: www.pbs.org/about/about-pbs/blogs/news/icon-music-through-the-lens-explores-the-thrilling-world-of-concert-photography/.

This aired on Sky Arts already in the UK. Should still be able to get it. Lawrence Watson also appears which is how I originally heard about it.

I would've watched this on Sky Arts if I had known it was on. I don't have Sky itself but I have Now TV which is Sky channels.
