I noticed that the version of Once that plays in the credits of As It Was sounds different to the studio version on Why Me? Why Not.
Is it just my ears or is there a difference? It seems like there isn't any strings in the film version.

Isn't it the demo version?

Isn't it the demo version? The scene where he's in the studio near the end is the demo, but I think the version in the credits is an early mix of the final song?

Oh ok it's just that I haven't watched As It Was for a while so I haven't listened to that version of the song and that's why I was guessing it was the demo version. It could be an early mix of the final song.

Yeah I remember noticing this as soon as I listened to all the versions. The version during the credits of As It Was doesnโt appear to be anywhere, which is disappointing because I really loved it. I suspect it was an early recording that would have been recorded during the demo stages. Itโs a shame that never came out

Yeah it's an earlier mix by the sounds it. Should be easy enough to rip.

I haven't seen As It Was for a long time but was convinced it was the demo from the acoustic sessions.

There are definitely strings in the end credits version. Not hearing any differences at all, really. It's just not brickwall-maximized into oblivion.
