We got really spoiled with the two MTV Unplugged’s.
Noel’s 1996 impromptu performance has always been a nice collectors item - something truly different, especially for Oasis back in the mid-90s, complete with Liam heckling from the balcony with a couple Stella’s after faking a sore throat. Typical Oasis, wouldn’t have it any other way.
And then Liam with the comebacks of all comebacks with his 2019 Unplugged performance - a separation of two decades between both Unpluggeds - and the return of the voice, the swagger, the re-addition of Bonehead, the perfect set list, the venue, the crowd, the visuals, and the sound. Truly biblical.
I wouldn’t change a fucking thing about either of them, and having both is a great addition to the Oasis Fanbase.
I’ve always loved and appreciated the versatility of Oasis. That versatility has kept the vitality of the band’s longevity, and their remaining legacy. Class.

It actually kind of worked out that Liam wasn't at the first one. Because the second one was so MEGA! Also the fist one has some of my favorite versions of some songs like Noel's takes on Cast No Shadow and Whatever.

I still prefer the Liam one out of the two. Noel's is ok but it's certainly not a concert which I go back to.

I love listening to Noel’s. I have never and probably will never listen to Liam’s.

I love listening to Noel’s. I have never and probably will never listen to Liam’s. Really? Fan of one over the other is fine but you should watch it. It's brilliant.

Liam offers a masterful interpretation. His rasping voice that mixes with guitars, orchestra and choirs is something really intense, different from the usual Unplugged in which you simply "sing" acoustically.

Neither of them is any good. The first one because Noel had and awful voice and Liam's one because the setlist is really-really bad. I wouldn't listen to any of them ever, especially bacause we have the Acoustic Sessions.

Bonehead made a history for performing on this show twice. Legend.

I like both and glad we got them, although they could've been better
Liam on his is on very good form, but I'm not too keen on the choice of solo songs (think I may be the only Gallagher fan not impressed with Wall Of Glass) and how they blend in with the Oasis stuff Really like that version of Stand By Me tho, not sure about Cast No Shadow and Sad Song (again I know I'm in the minority)
The Oasis one has a lot of history attached to it, but there are bits where you can clearly hear Noel was just filling in and it was all built around Liam, and he wasn't in his prime vocally It was an overall good performance, the way those songs lend themselves to the unplugged style it could've been a great one Gotta say tho, it was worth it just for that version of Cast No Shadow, truly fantastic And I much prefer that arrangement of Some Might Say to the Liam one
I wish Noel would get a shot at it now though, it could be special

I love listening to Noel’s. I have never and probably will never listen to Liam’s. Same here, just the other way round!
*runs for the hills*
I love Noel singing Noel sung songs, but not Liam sung songs.

I love them both. I prefer Noel's just because of the time in my life when it took place. They are both brilliant though!

Fair play to Noel for keeping the show on the road with the first one but I’m not a fan of it except Listen Up! Which is as good as anything Noel has done live.

I even prefer "Come Back To Me" as a rocker on As You Were tbh.

Yes I agree, probably best Noel sung version of Listen Up. I never understood why they used an harmonica for the live versions of "Whatever" during that time though, doesn't suit the tune very well I think.

I’d like some edit of the two all balanced!
