Something I've never seen mentioned is the similarity between the driving lead guitar in Columbia and Snakebite.
The riff played during Columbia's verses (particularly noticeable on the white label demo) is clearly an evolution of the Snakebite riff. Definitely toned down though removing the higher register part to avoid over shadowing the vocals. Perfect on an instrumental though.
I wonder how many other similarities there are? Moments, licks or ideas taken from old demos we can see used in studio tracks later down the line.
Another great example is the opening 'Hey you!' from Up In The Sky taken from Noel's '89 demo 'Hey You'.

I love Snakebite but I haven't listened to it in a long time. It's a shame that the track was never officially released and I wish that it had been released as a b.side at some point.
