the only live version is Noel acoustic on Radio Deejay, all the others were taped versions after the gigs ended or mimed on TV

Let There Be Love is a good song but I don't think that the song is live material to play at a gig. So I can see why Oasis didn't choose to play it.

The album version is just so fucking slow and plodding. No energy. No juice. Hate how it was done. Curious how that full band version turned out that Was seen briefly in the DBTT doc. Was probably better of as a future Noel solo song.

As for the full band version it would be great to hear it sometime but I guess Noel decided that the slower version was the perfect way to end the album at the time.

For me, it is also very slow (the album version). I remember when the demos came out in late 2000 and I really liked 'Tis A Crime'. When the album version came out, I felt that the grace of the song had been lost. They sing it very well but the song lost something.

It's A Crime is better than the album version obviously but the song is doomed from the start for me, whether sped up or not, or done live or whatever.
Because the chorus is just so grating in whatever guise.
But the album version really is abysmal lol, one of the big lows of Oasis' career.

I say it all the time but what the fuck was DBTTA gonna be before Noel added Lyla and Idle towards the end of the sessions when the record company didnโt hear any promotional material. Toss in it was Sardyโs idea for LTBL to not only be worked on during the sessions but included. Literally the 3 singles werent part of the original DBTT plan.

Itโs somewhere between the two and has an arpeggio (I think itโs called) guitar bit going through it. Less heavy handed than the final version but closer to that than Its a Crime.

that 3321XX chord is amazing
love it (demo and DBBT version) but I can see something got lost during the re-re-re-recording

Always annoyed me that they edited together a fake live video for it when it was never actually played live. X

The video to the song isn't one of Oasis's best but it's ok. As for the demo version it's ok but I haven't listened to it in a long time.

This thread inspired me to listen to LTBL at 1.25 speed on Youtube and it actually sounds really great that way!
I still say Noel should have added a guitar solo in place of the orchestral part. It would have sounded nice.
