They've definitely missed a trick by not tinkering with the track listing slightly for the RSD version. Stick in a few deeper cuts and this would have been a proper collectors item. Instead we get a print of Noels arse.

As much as I’d hoped for more, when you trim off the chaff we still have a decent RSD EP for the hardcore fans here:
1. We're On Our Way Now 2. Flying On The Ground 3. International Magic 4. BSD Remix 5. Blue Moon Rising Remix 6. TITP Remix 7. The Man Who Built The Moon Acoustic
Three new songs, three new remixes and The Man Who Built The Moon acoustic.
Better than a slap in the nads.

X 1-3 are worth the admission price alone. for the 3CD at least. I'll probably listen to the remixes two or three times though, I think I'd have preferred rarely played live tracks in good quality. I really hope the acoustic version of TMWBTM isn't just the album vocals with an acoustic guitar playing over it. Hopefully it's an interesting new recording. I'm pretty hyped for the album, although I don't think I'll bother with the boxset this time round. The 3CD, cassette, and (hopefully) RSD vinyl will be more than enough for me.

I dont expect much from it. but again, hope i'm wrong and it's a huge version with loads of guitar layers.

For those of you who know your remixes, are any of them new on the RSD release?

100% Totally forgotten about freaky teeth! Love that tune. Always stood out as from the others. Underplayed too. It should have been much much better. The studio version is much too slow and has no sense of urgency compared to its live counterpart. It was a highlight when I saw Noel on his 2011 USA tour. The live version is epic and builds beyond belief. Very much better than the studio yep

For those of you who know your remixes, are any of them new on the RSD release? There are three new remixes, all of the EP tracks: BSD, TITP & BMR. The BSD & TITP Skeleton Key remixes are by James Skelly of The Coral. Nothing is known about the BMR “Sons Of The Desert” remixer yet. X

How many of Noel’s brilliant acoustic versions over the years have just been random things he did in (radio) studios? If it’s good, I’ll take it. I’m intrigued regardless. I can give you a slap in the nads if you’d prefer? X

Plus the exclusive print of his arse.

TCT 2017 (Audience recording)

but then he opened with Good To Be Free..and ended up playing only 2 new songs (out of 6) ((cheap bastard)) (((yes it was free but fuck him)))
