This just appeared on YouTube courtesy of Maxi Gonzalez. Is this a new source? I haven't heard it before anyway...

Sounds great, but this is a compilation of demos from the Chasing the Sun reissues, right?

'Hey Now' stands up surprisingly well here. Still think Noel should've sung 'Don't Go Away'.

Still think Noel should've sung 'Don't Go Away'. yes if he had to pick one tune on BHN so he can keep Magic Pie away for a couple of years and trim the junk out of it no cos Liam had to sing to drive these lovely tunes (Rockin' chair, Slide Away, Wonderwall) Hey Now is superb.

'Hey Now' stands up surprisingly well here. Still think Noel should've sung 'Don't Go Away'. Hmmm. While I love the live acoustic version (Chicago 98 being the stand out), for me Liam adds that edge that takes the song to another level.

I've read comments to suggest otherwise but in my opinion (as great a vocalist Liam is) he has very little range in terms of performance and not every Oasis song is best served by what Liam can offer. If you want a performance which is bold, confident and full of swagger Liam will be your guy almost everytime. More subtle, emotive and dynamic performances aren't generally in his wheelhouse but Noel makes for a satisfactory substitute. For me 'Don't Go Away' is one of these songs. The benefit of Noel's performance would outweigh Liam's superior voice IMO.

Is this video really Club Quattro SOUNDCHECK? it's amazing!! The audio is from the Chasing the Sun Morning Glory & Be Here Now reissues. The vídeo is from a different performance. I think only Don't Go Away from the soundcheck was released as a free download.

For the record, Noel played Hey Now during the soundcheck on DBTT tour in 2006 too.
Also I've added a question mark to the threads title to avoid confusion. Cheers.

Someone want to tell the uploader that Going Nowhere is not from the soundcheck. It was recorded in the same studio as the Hello and She’s Electric demos, Mauldeth Road West Studios, Manchester. It was released on the exclusive 7” single in the Be Here Now box set. I don’t have a picture but the label states where it was recorded. It’ll look the same as the the picture below:

Correct. Those "demos" were from the Mark Coyle tape of this soundcheck. Were they really recorded in 1994? 1993 and 1994. A couple of the demos released as part of the Chasing the Sun series were most likely recorded at Coyle's home studio throughout 1993. The others are from this soundcheck in the fall of 1994.
