Finally, an excellent HD quality of D’You Know What I Mean live at Earls Court 97. The menacing complement to Wonderwall.
Easily the best live performance. The band look cool as fuck. Guigsy having the time of his life. Liam admitting he just snorted some coke back stage. And his dancing a jig during the guitar solo is also pure inventive brilliance. Peak Oasis.
You have no idea how much I fucking love this performance. Earls Court 1997 deserves its own release, they smashed the entire gig.
Fucking top song. Fucking top performance. Fucking great band.

It's the audio from Hammerstein Ballroom.

Surely this isn't really HD, the best source we have is from the 2rock special, probably just been upscaled

Liam's solo version is better than the 1997 Oasis live version, both in the arrangement and in the vocal interpretation

I think This live video was uploaded on Oasis Official Youtube account, but seems taken down, don't know why.

It's still on their YouTube channel as a unlisted video.

I love that little "Wayne's World styley" guitar riff after the first chorus.
Always nice to see Guigs having a good time too.

I've always loved the live versions of D' You Know What I Mean? It's a shame that Oasis dropped it too soon on their Heathen Chemistry tour back in 2002.

Just watched one of the nights of EC 1997 (as best as I could, a joke the available footage of this!)
But anyway such a great gig. ❤
Even Magic Pie actually sounds pretty decent lol.

Those were the days weren't they? People can crap on BHN as much as they want, as a live band, they were unbeatable in that era! Liam's solo version is better than the 1997 Oasis live version, both in the arrangement and in the vocal interpretation It's not. Jay Mehler ruins an iconic but simple guitar solo by going rogue and doing his own weird little thing. Makes me angry everytime I hear it. Just play the fucking part!

It's the audio from Hammerstein Ballroom. Yeah that does piss me the fuck off. Why do that? It’s matched up with the video well. But does ruin its validity.

This and the GMEX performance are just superb. ❤ I love the Manchester Gmex performance of D' You Know What I Mean? too. And, it's certainly one of the best live performances of the song.
