If we're going on the melody and the sound, It's Better People has to be up there. And Whatever of course.

Some Might Say deserves a nod.
Even though there are lines about "telling it to the man in Hell", being optimistic is being able to see the good in everything and that embodies such a spirit.

Rock N Roll Star because it's got everything. Tonight I'm A Rock N Roll Star and In My Mind My Dreams Are Real. What great lyrics to have in a song and the song itself is a great album opener especially for a debut.

Interesting that the first song that immediately came into my head for this was A bell will ring - surprised myself!

Have always thought Acquiesce is one of the most optimistic songs ever written by anyone. That we can believe in each other, that we can give one another what we need, that we can each fulfill what’s sleeping in our souls ...it's communitarian and it’s personal and it’s the whole human dream right there, said with perfect simplicity.
Even the fact that they shared the vocals was pretty optimistic.

Almost all of the songs on the first 3 albums and b-sides share common themes of optimism and believing in yourself and being happy!
We will find a brighter day <3

The entire last act of Be Here Now, from the start of the title track to the final door-slam, is one continuous riot of pure joy.

Suprised no one mentioned Up In The Sky Soaring sound but the lyrics are more a sly critique--actually for me personally, something I absolutely love about early Oasis...that mix...but I wouldn't call it flat-out optimism.

Little James. Based off the fact they thought it was good enough to put on an album.

Seriously though - Step Out! It's like that dream where you get the girl and win the big race, and then when you wake up you still sort of believe it.
