Confirmed ones: Slowthai Puma Blue Black Country, New Road Royal Blood London Grammar Not confirmed but could happen: Loyle Carner Dermot Kennedy Sam Fender Kendrick Lamar The War On Drugs Inhaler Hopefully Noel and Liam too I've heard a couple Black Country New Road tunes, they seem pretty interesting. Wasn't mad on the recent one but I do like their sound - is there an album they have I should listen to to check them out? |

The second album (out in march) from Black Honey. I'm not completely sold on the new songs (and I really don't like the album artwork) but I liked their debut very much so I still have my hopes up.

I know Neil and Crazy Horse have a new live archives release Deep in the Rust Bucket coming out feb 26th.
And I’m hoping for a release date for the Smashing Pumpkins’ Machina reissue.
Hopefully a new Hives album too, especially if there’s more songs like Good Samaritan up their sleeves.

Norman F****** Rockwell is the best album I've heard in the last few years. Really is exceptional, the songs the concept - all so consistent. Very intrigued to see what the follow up is going to be like. Music of the Spheres will be interesting in that I have no idea what direction it will take. Given rumours of a Daft Punk collab, I think it will be heavy on such mainstream tricks but that's not to detract it by any means - just hope it isn't any of the kind of lightweight meaningless nonsense we got with Head Full Of Dreams. I think that was just an awful album. Collabs can work, don't think many liked it but that song E-lo with Pharrell Williams from 2018 was effective I thought. |
